" We booked a SKODA KAROQ automatic When we arrived at the Car rental desk at Bergamo at the booked time they told us we had to wait 40 minutes since the car was not back jet After half an hour they told us the car was ready and they send us to the car pickup parking When we arrived after waiting in the shuttle bus for another half hour we where informed that the car finally did NOT arrive and they gave us an other car same category Which was not because it was manual So we left after 2 hours and not with the category we booked At the drop off they tried to charge us an extra day since they said we where late!!! After a few arguments, they have proposed a car within the class I have paid. Then they have said that winterization needs to be paid separately although I remember that the corresponding box has been ticked at the time of the payment. " Sono anni che mi servo di Auto Europe per i miei noleggi. Non posso valutare le auto che non fornisce Auto Europe ma posso dare 5 stelle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ al servizio. Quando ne ho avuto bisogno, poche volte per la verità, sono stati impeccabili. Prenoto con loro soprattutto per il servizio di rimborso franchigia particolarmente vantaggioso. L'assicurazione fatta con le compagnie di noleggio è molto onerosa, almeno 25/30euro al giorno per piccole auto. Con pochi euro Auto Europe offre il rimborso franchigia che non è un'assicurazione ma il rimborso in caso di danni di quanto si trattiene sulla carta di credito la compagnia che materialmente fornisce l'auto. In questo caso invece (ritardo nel check-in con relativa cancellazione della prenotazione) devo ringraziare Christian S. (Reservation Support) che mi ha fatto avere il rimborso completo (che non mi sarebbe stato dovuto) e che ha aiutato con una nuova immediata prenotazione. Unico piccolo neo la lunga attesa al telefono per la risposta. "

Quindi ritorno al banco check-in, consegna delle chiavi e attesa di un po' di ore per avere conferma della riconsegna dell'auto in ordine. A me è andato tutto bene ma consiglierei Viaggiare solo per il prezzo che è comunque un fattore importante "

" I booked a car with your service but didn't get the car, lost the money and a lot of nerves. When I arrived at the rental company, they refused to give me a car, because my surname was not written directly on the card. I showed my online banking account to confirm that it is my card, but they said, that it is their policy and they have it written in their rules. The company manager read the voucher from the auto-Europe and agreed, that there is no information about it in my voucher in the Terms and Conditions or while I booked a car. Only that I need a physical card in my name with me, which means, that it should be my credit card – and I had it with me (to this email I attached my voucher and my statement to the rental company, sighed by their manager). The manager of auto-Europe offered me only to cover half of the price of the reservation and didn`t see the mistake of the company, which was a shock, because I was in the middle of nowhere without a car, paying tens of euros for roaming calls to auto-Europe, totally changing all of my plans and the company not only refused to say sorry for that but didn't give back my money for the car I never get. In Ukraine, we mostly have cards without names written on them. I had 4 credit cards in my name with me (!) and none of them was ok. So if you have that kind of restriction – you need to write it IN YOUR RULES, that the name should be ON the card, because it`s not obvious for the countries, where most of the cards don`t have the name on it. Therefore, I ask the auto-Europe to return my money, as well as to correct the rules. "

I could see that clients booking directly with the company/companies did indeed get a Fiat 500 (rather than a forced "upgrade" to the Fiat Panda !). " I rented a car from 13.07.2023 until 16.07.2023. There were series of problems at the check-out: The first car that I was given had a very dirty interior and a deep cut on the tire. After changing the car, the new car had a tank 3/4 full even though the contract stated a full tank and did not have all the scratches marked. When I wanted to document the scratches, I was refused and recommended to take pictures and video. I was charged a deposit of 700EUR but the contract stated 250 EUR. Upon return of the car I was refused an in-person inspection of the car and after 3 hours after I returned the car, the employee sent me a picture claiming I scratched the car. In the picture it was clearly visible it is a dirt but they still claimed it is a damage and they released my deposit of 700 EUR only after I made an official complaint. The release of the money happened on the 5th day after I returned the car. "
