" In ovwrall would be good, but I booked an automatic car, it was sicilycars, but something went wrong and I repeated everything on the booking, and only after payment I realised that instead of sicilycar budged appeared and not an automatic cas, bis manual gearbox. Price was the same. I asked about possibility to have an automatix gear box, but they offered to pay 6€/day... "
" I payed full insurance at Auto Europe, but stuff at the desk suggested to cancell that insurance and to take one straight from them, mentioning that insurance from Auto Europe does not work, it was a surprise for me than in case of accident they would charge me and I should claim to get money back. Next surprise was at car return, guy informed that they will not give me back all money they reserved, as I choosed an insurance. And here I told, that I do not agree, as I choosed insurance straigjt drom Auto Europe, but he showed me that insurance was includes in my contract which I signed at the pick up desk. And that's my fault that I didnt check what did they put. In total they deductes 140€, for one infant chair and child foamy cushion, tslling that insurance was like a packaged with chairs, or something... "

" The overall experience was fine but I feel the problem is it seems there's a disconnect between Auto Europe and the Rental Car Agencies. The car agencies specially if you have taken Auto Europe Insurance, make you feel you are in trouble unless you take their own insurance. I was so scared that I almost paid extra for their insurance. Agencies give you a feeling that you have booked a 'cheap' car so you get a cheap car and service. AutoEurope should work harder to bridge this disconnect. Also Auto Europe should give better, clearer and precise information to their users about what all Autoeurope would do and how they would address problems/ issues in case they get into trouble "
" The Venice Airport counter staffs attitude was very matter of fact (Almost curt) Vehicle allotted was very old (Run 65000+ KM) it had a big dent on one side and lots of small dents all over. In short, It was not a smooth ride. Went back to ask for a vehicle change and the counter rep. without even checking his inventory said there are no other vehicles and if I want to change will have to pay for an upgrade!! It was as if he was ready with an answer, as if he knew the vehicle was bad and I would come back. Am not sure and would not like to speculate (or accuse) but I get this feeling that the counter rep. racist? Had I been a white person would he have behaved this way? Overall am not at all happy with BUDGET ! "

" I find Auto Europe easy to work with. Due to COVID, I had to cancel my initial reservation. It was easy and efficient. I received a refund expediently. (I initially investigated a refund from the rental company. I couldn't find a way to contact them; so, it was a relief to have Auto Europe do that on my behalf.) "

" The guy at the counter 3 times wrote up a contract with the additional insurance and tried to trick us into signing it. We refused each time because our credit card provides automatic insurance on car rental, which I fortunately had a copy of the terms. He kept trying to convince us that it wouldn't work. And the price of the insurance was 1 1/2 times the price of the rental. They didn't have the car we reserved and tried to convince us that to upgrade to a better car it had to be part of a package with the additional insurance, so instead of 180 EUR it would have been almost 500 EUR. We just had to keep refusing and refusing. We didn't want an upgrade and it wasn't our fault they didn't have the car we reserved. And when we refused he would write up another contract with insurance with some other excuse. It was like he was trying to wear us down and not notice he kept adding it and he was waiting for us to just sign off. Then finally he wrote up the contract with only an additional 35 EUR for windshield protection and at that point we were tired of fighting him so just let it go even though we didn't want it. It was exhausting and took so long to get out of the rental car office. I don't think I'd rent from them again. "
