" Love the experience with Auto Europe. Hated the experience with Sixt. Which is strange as normally they are good. "
" I paid for a BMW X1, got offered the "upgrade" which was the Jeep Compass, which was cheaper to start with. Then the lady tried to sell me the all in package for 55 euro's a day. I told her that I already have full coverage, she still tried to push it. Seems to me that Sixt is too aggressive to cross sell. Did not get a refund for the cheaper car. Would never go for the more expensive option in the category as it is a scam with them. "

" Overall easy to book and modify. Received the car I wanted and no issues over the month. "
" Long wait of more than 1 hour to get rental, but staff was excellent once I made up to the counter. Needed to fill the car with washer fluid and adblue. These levels should be checked before rental. "

" Picking up the car was very smooth. When returning the car, it is often a challenge in airports to find the entrance to the return parking. Same in this case, although we did manage to locate it already with the 2nd round. :-) it would be advisable to use bigger signs or enter the exact location for the return to the NAV of the car as the Home address for example to make this more smoother. "

" We shorten our rental period and got refunded within 48 hours. Will definitely used their service again. "
" It would have being 9 stars if they could accept credit card of wife ( same account ) eventually we have to pay for additional driver ( quite expensive) and the fuel Charge for full - empty was expensive, but it did save us time looking for gas station. "

" The staff at the counter both at the Rome Train Station and the Florence Airport station were excellent. They spoke perfect English and were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger brand new car at no cost. The agent in Florence met us at the car and called a taxi to pick us up in 2 minutes right at the car! The prepaid (full tank) fuel option price was about the same as what the gas stations cost, so if you are planning to use close to a full tank, this is the way to go. Finding the rental car return lot at the Florence Airport was a nightmare, so I suggest doing a lot of planning on figuring our where it is. We were running the car GPS and two other GPS programs on phones and they were all wrong. Overall, the experience was probably one of the best car rental experiences I have ever had. But what ended up being about $100/day, I am glad it was. "
