" Never again! They force you to pay a cleaning fee at the end of each booking. Is a hidden costs that's become compulsory at the end of the rental agreement. These costs are included with all the other rental companies. "
" It is basically a scam scheme since they will charge you the cleaning of the car on top of the renting agreement. The standard cleaning is included with any other company, but with them. A hidden costs and not acceptable. "

" Good experience. The only issue I had was our directions to our car. Once we picked up the keys we were told to go to P1 area and the assistant just pointed in a direction. We ended up walking around trying to find P1 which didn't actually exist and found the car by clicking and unclicking the car open and closed. But apart from that everything ran really well. "

" While Europecar is very available, shrugging off problems onto the smaller companies they work with feels unacceptable. It's both not friendly towards customers, not towards the companies they work with. If friends ask how to rent a car on their vacation, I would mention AutoEurope, but with a big disclaimer on transparancy and my user experience! "
" We arrived at the counter where we encountered a very disinterested staff. We were told our card was not accepted for making the deposit. They kept referring to their website, stating this was clearly mentioned. However, the page is only available in Italian, making it less user-friendly for non-Italian customers. The staff was very dismissive of our problems and when we finally paid the 500 euro insurance, we were thrown the key and from far away pointed towards our car. The document we had to sign was not filled in properly, with my document numbers being filled in wrongly and personal information being completely incorrect. At this as well, the staff was dismissive, stating "It's all OK, you have full insurance". We also were assigned another car than requested and had to wait a long time before we finally were able to leave as the staff was "waiting for license plate confirmation". The car itself drove like it was at the end of its life and shifting gears sounded like we were further damaging it. "

" The online booking was misleading. It said "airport pickup," but the location is not near the airport at all. In the fine-print it gives a number to call for a pick-up shuttle, but (1) coming from the U.S., my phone did not have international service, and (2) when I did call, by frantically borrowing another rental service worker's phone, the number did not work. So we ended up taking a cab to the address provided in the fine print. Once we got there it was fine, but the whole experience was unnecessarily stressful. If the paperwork was more upfront about where the facility was located it would have been much easier for everyone. "

" Target Rent in Rome is based 15 minutes drive from airport. Shuttle service is provided - however not well enough indicated. You have to call them so they send you a whatsapp message with the directions of how to get to the shuttle stand... upon arrival grumpy stuff. No choice of cars. Not the best of car rental experiences. "

According to them, my Israeli driver's license is not a driver's license. although the rules say that a driver's license must contain information in Latin letters and contain the inscription "Driver's license" All this information is on my driver's license. " okay, so I am belgian and live in brazil, so i have a brazilian dirvers licence. I learned the hard way that i have to check on the rental conditions if my brazilian drivers licence is accepted. drivalia, for example, does accept it. europcar decided not to, even though it is written in roman alphabet. I do have the international drivers licence, but I forgot t home and had only pics. when i rented in target i carefully check rental conditions and it did not say anything about eu drivers licence obligation. at counter i was denied to get the car. it was fully paid, i was not reimbursed yet. i showed them pics of my int drivers licence and told them about the small print in the rental conditions at your website, they were rude and still denied service. I ended up paying 4x more at anther company. i need my reimbursemnet "

" The car was FILTHY with sweat stains on both front seats, a dirty pair of mens underpants in the rear foot area and nose pickings wiped on the sun visor - YUCK! The Target car hire said that they would charge me 9.99 if I did not return the car completely clean which is a complete rip off. I reserved a VW Golf or similar but was given a dreadful Fiat Tipo with a first gear problem which made driving around the steep hills of Mount Etna almost impossible. The extra insurance fees were very expensive and it would have been far better value ordering from Avis or Hertz who are much more professional with better cars. There was no where to park the car when dropping off and a huge queue of people ahead of me which made me worry about getting my flight. Dreadful Dreadful Dreadful! "

" I booked my car as always through AutoEurope as I have been doing over the last years. It is a pity that AutoEurope does not offer ANY loyalty scheme to those who rent cars through their site. "
" The price of the Rental was good, when compared to other companies. However, I noticed that the full-cover was very expensive when compared. I hope this is not some new strategy for making customers select the vehicle at a low cost, and then put up the prices for basic requirements such as coverage. "
