We got an email from Surprice that our contract is in place and that we can pick up the car the next day with out any changes in the terms. 6. We arrived next day and we were told that due to our "no show" the day before, our contract was canceled and if we want rent from them it will cost us 332 euros. 7. We argued and they finally approved 32 euros only, and we accepted. 8. The car we got was a Seat Arona which is by far less in quality than the Audi we reserved. We are not satisfied and we will probably not order via you website again. One of the problems we saw is to many Middle companies. "

" A total nightmare!!!! Will only recommend this to my worse enemy to endure. Staff unhelpful. My elderly mother had to stand in the sun in 38C and was shouted at when she wanted to stand (not sit!) inside in aircon. Concequently she got sunstroke. Had to stand in blazing sun for 3 hours, even when I came at the correct time to collect my car. Totally unorganised with cars not prebooked. Wasted my short time on the island and could hardly experience anything. After waiting 3 hours to get inside the cabin, it takes 15-20 minutes for each person to be assisted (which is quick) and then your car is not ready. Had to wait another 30 minutes as it came from the car wash - thus a 10am booked car was only received by 2.30pm! Then even if payment was received, then alot of people was shown away when they used a cheque/debit card instead of a credit card. Many many people had problems and the staff only shouted on the people that it is not their problem. Whenever anyone tried to talk about the service, then they were blacklisted with the company and asked to escort a staff member to the police. No refunds were given. A crazy deposit of E900 was also taken on my card (and most other people) and still a week later not returned to my account. I wish I never ever booked with them. "

" First member of counter staff incredibly rude and when I repeatedly tried to explain I had printed all my relevant contact details on the back of my booking confirmation (as a regular renter I know they will ask for this), he insisted I wrote them manually on a form and then asked me to clarify my email address. When I told him this was exactly why I print the info clearly on the back of my booking confirmation so that he could easily read it and therefore he already had this information, he walked out of the office and left someone else to deal with me. To be fair he had seen what happened and agreed I was only trying to be helpful in the first instance and he dealt with me in a courteous manner. When I left the office I saw the first member of staff and, allowing for the possibility of the language barrier causing some confusion on his part, I apologized for any misunderstanding and tried to shake his hand. He initially refused and after I insisted, he did shake my hand and stormed off. I have never experienced such disgusting and rude behaviour from anyone dealing with a customer. Then when I received the vehicle, it was dirty both inside and out. Bearing in mind it was a 9 seat mini bus in which I would be driving my customers around for a few days, it created a terrible impression and was an embarrassment to me. Also there was a yellow warning light which I reported to the staff. I was reassured it was nothing and it would be fine. As it turned out, there was no problem mechanically with the vehicle, but of course this constant warning light did not fill me with confidence during the period of rental. I was not given or sent any documentation on departure (which I assumed would be emailed to me) nor was I given any kind of receipt when returning the vehicle so in effect have no proof of ever having had the vehicle at all! In summary, I will certainly not be using this company again and would never dream of recommending them. "

" To get real full coverage insurance in Siciily I ended up paying Auto Europe and then again paying Surprice for duplicate coverage. Surprice would not honor the coverage I purchased through Auto Europe and told me any damage to the car would be charged to me in full. Then I would be "on my own" to gather documentation, police reports and repair quotes to submit to Auto Europe. In the meantime all repair costs would be deducted from my Visa. Instead of a good deal on a rental car, I paid double what I could have paid if I had avoided Auto Europe and dealt directly with one of the major rental car companies. I won't be back. "

" After waiting for more than an hour, I was given a car with over a dozen dents and scratches (some of which unaccounted for), a terrifying rattling noise coming off the engine and a huge SERVICE warning on the display. The car was promptly replaced, for which I give extra points, but I did not receive an updated rental agreement with the details of the new car. The replacement vehicle had no obvious defects. All this happened between 9pm - 10:30pm at a dark parking lot. On the next morning, I noticed the inside bit of the driver's door lock was missing, but I didn't think it was a big deal as the remote was in perfect order and I didn't need the key to access the car. Upon return of the vehicle (without a scratch whatsoever), the Surprice agent marked the missing bit and I expect to be charged for it. During our stay, we were renting an entire house with a private parking -- and I noticed the missing part on the very next morning, so there's no way it could have happened during my rental. I hate being scammed and will most likely appeal any potential charges I might get -- my security deposit hasn't yet been unblocked off my credit card. "
