" Smilerent parking is located between shuttle bus stops, and you need to walk and carry your bags. At the parking entrance there is a barrier, and you need to enter some code, but the code was not supplied. When picking the car up, we just passed behind the barrier, but when returning then car I had to wait for some lady with a card to open the barrier. Smilerent charged me for car cleaning. It is OK when you have an option to wash and clean the car yourself or pay for cleaning, but there is no car wash near Smilerent parking! Also they charged me for 100 Euro for 'damage' which is not damage in fact. I'm still in a dispute with them regarding this incident. So my overall experience with them is very negative. "

" 1.Instead of Renault Karpur I ordered, I've got Ford Focus instead. And the car I got was making a lot of noise during driving from the front of motor area that I was wondering will it eventually get broken or not.. Thank God it didn't but most likely it will pretty soon! 2. For some unknown reason I was charged a week rate for the 4 days of rental. While at the airport I could rent one for twice as this amount. Above of that, after I returned the vehicle and the rental finished SmileRent just took from my card 21,59€ and 5,66€ extra for God knows what! And the bill they have was 21,59 costs because of the use of Navigation system that I didn't ask! and 5,66 for petrol, while I took the car with 94% of fuel. This is just ridiculous, because as the matter of fact I asked Renault Karpur but I got Ford Focus eventually, as I mentioned above. After I asked for clarification regarding this, I got no reply from SmileRent. 3. The location of parking to pick up the car wasn't clear at all. In the invoice from AutoEurope it says literally: MILAN MALPENSA AIRPORT EXIT T1 AND TAKE SHUTTLE BUS FOR THE "STAFF" PARKING AREA Well.. When I asked shuttle bus driver for the "Staff parking area" he didn't know where it is. So I spent the night in some local hotel because of that. I should call the number I know but still.. Guys, you should call this parking area not "STAFF" but SMILE-RENT! Thank you for reading this, I tried to stay objective! And I hope for return of this "navigation costs " because it's really ridiculous! "

" At car pick up, we were told that we could easily extend the rental from the app at anytime. The day drop-off was scheduled, my wife was in bed with the flu and high fever. We tried extending since early morning all through the next day, impossible. Tried getting a hold of somebody, impossible. Next day when we returned the car, we were told we could have extended, but only 24 hours before due date. If you know ahead of time that there will be NO WAY to ever get a hold of anyone and understand their terms, then, yes, it is a good option to rent. "
" It would help a lot if at some point, someone would tell the renter that there will be absolutely no way to get in touch with the rental company. There is a phone number on the contract which belongs to Avis/Budget. If you call them, they'll tell you they have nothing to do with Smilerent. Only way to contact them is by email, 48 hours later, still no answer. "

" I was highly dissatisfied in the following aspects: - Smile rent is distant from the terminal - it is very inconvenient in comparison with other rentals that are on spot. - It is not clear which shuttle bus you have to take - there are somany and no proper signs. - When I called Smile rent contact number to ask assistance to get to the rental parking: 0039 06 41994 245 - the number is not existing. I lost 2 hours by finding the parking. - Car did not have full petrol - it is difficult to estimate how much petrol I have to give back. - The rental assistant did not give me the correct answers - e.g. the gentleman told me to restitute 50% petrol, but afterwards I found out in application there was only 35% - obviously he was not trained properly. He also told me not to worry as he will remember that petrol was not full when I will restitute the car. Of course there was not him but the other person. - It is very uncomfortable to take pictures of the car if it is blocked by other cars on sides of the parking. Again the gentleman insured me it is ok. - There was no liquid for the cleaning of the front window. Whole experience was very unpleasant and I won't use Smile Rent any more. I won't recommend it to anyone else. I am using Car Rentals since many years and it was the first time that it was so highly inconvenient. "
