" On the 15th March we rented a car, not the car i wanted but it seems it was one of the few available with winter tyres. I had sent an email asking for this but it seems noone took note of it. Before we left the garage we have been told to return the car with a full tank and we were also told that there is a gas station at the airport. Also, we were told to post the keys in the letter box since the office is not 24/7. On the 19th march we headed to the airport and stopped at the gas station. The station was closed and the machine did not work. I have photos to prove this. Hence we had no choice other than to return the car with around 250km of fuel and not full. I called Locauto while at the gas station but noone picked up, nit even a monile number. Once at the airport i called and a lady spoke to me. I could hardly understand what she was saying. I told her that i sent an email with photos and she told me to send it to another email address which i did. No reply yet. I am hoping they didnt charge my card without speaking to me first. Would appreciate if you can help with this please. "

" As per separate E mail we were supplied with the wrong (too small) chains in the right box (ie the box said 215/65 R17 Net result we got stuck, missed a days holiday. Had the expense of an extra night AND had to buy correct size chains the following day. Locate kept saying they are the correct chains. We attempted to use them, had a garage check them to confirm they were the wrong size and it was a general nightmare. Now the want to charge us for damaging their chains (because they were too small when we attempted to drive on them a coupling link was squashed) This is doubly audacious as the vehicle was returned with the correct chains we bought for E 85 and are requesting from them a refund for those chains and the Hotel accommodation. Further when we called the AA to help on the saturday (as we were advised to do by Locate) we were told they (the AA) could only help us on the monday ie 36 hours later. "

Also the daily rate from the agent (on which you even pay a commission) is nowhere near to what you are requesting for few minutes... One last thing, that quoting the contract is no consolation since I believe that common sense should prevail. As well we ordered car to fit 2 big luggage bags and some smaller ones. But person from Locauto gave us Nissan Qashqai which is suitable for one big luggage bag, we asked will it fit, he confirmed that it will, but we had struggle to fit it and we didn't see through back window while driving. The guy over the phone quoted me two prices, I picked the more expensive option because I was lead to believe it was including the additional insurance and protection plan that I wanted - since the basic is mandatory by law.
