" - online reservation was easy - clear communication over email - good price too bad I had to pay an additional fee at pick-up, otherwise it would have been perfect! "
" - at pick-up, I had to pay an extra "diesel tax", because the vehicle had a diesel engine, which I didn't ask for. Additionally, the whole point of making a reservation and paying beforehand, was to not have to pay at pick-up. I tried to explain, but there was no convincing the people at Interrent, so in the end I ended up paying extra. - The carrental pickup/drop-off location is not very convenient. It is very close to the airport, but it's very dangerous to go there on foot, as tehre are no proper pedestrian lanes, and you have to cross a few very big and dangerous roads. The alternative is to take the shuttle bus, but this means waiting up to 20 minutes (walking takes about 10), and even at that, there was not enough room in the bus, so that means waiting even longer! - There are 2 different offices at the pick-up place, only one is the right one. Signs are not very clean, of course we ended up at the wrong one at first. a waste of time. "

It looks like Auto Europe defaults to a pick-up time for 10:00 and my plane actually landed around 19:00. Interrent would therefor not let me get a car since I had "missed" my pick-up time. When I called Auto Europe about this from the Airport I got Zero help in resolving the matter or getting a refund. I've successfully used Auto Europe 3 times before but will never do it again and will advise everyone not to either. It's one thing that stuff "works" when everything is good but when problem arise you need a company/partner you can depend on and Auto Europe is not that. "

" We are really unhappy with the outcome at Interent from our recent car hire. Initially the woman at reception was very forceful in her selling of full comprehensive insurance at one point stating that 'scratches' was how they made their money - 'at 60 euros a scratch that equals 180 euros'. The car above was quite old, with plenty of existing marks, near bald tyres, smelt of cigarette smoke, had no back windscreen wiper and the air conditioning only functioned on high (these only to be discovered in the rain!). I did a thorough inspection of the car and returned to the office to have other marks added to the condition report (including the mirror mark) and the inspector commented that 'they are not scratches and will not be added. Scratches need to have broken the paint and be able to be felt with the finger' Upon returning the car this morning, the same inspector then duly noted the existing mark as a 'scratch' and filed an accident report despite saying the opposite 3 weeks prior. Despite me raising our initial conversation his only response was 'I warned you .....' We are extremely frustrated and feel like this is a scam to take money from tourists. "

Interrent offered me to get my wife card in case if I would paid them 36 euro per day for insurance. But it is a lot of money and I have World Wide Insurance. So I don't want to hear about them from now. "

Waiting time at the counter didn't go over 30 min, very fast process to get the car's key, car was new and clean, easy to return. Price was unbeatable; for a Fiat Qubo, 14 days, I paid a little bit less than 500€ with all insurances so I didn't have to think about scratches. I returned the car dirty and it was no problem. " Due to delay of flight I arrived some 90 late and was told that the car I had reserved (and paid) had been given away and the only alternative was a fiat 500xl at an extra charge of 120euros which is approx 50% more than the agreed rental. They claim is in their small print conditions that if you arrive more tha 1 hour late they are free to do so; I still find this unreasonable and abusive considering that my reservation is secured by a down payment of the entire rental charge. Is this truly normal? Auto Europe should flag this clearly when customers are booking with interment. "

" I used Autoeurope for a while already and different carhire had different things to be carefull of. just be sure to read when the dealer is at the airport or not, it might take lot of time if they are not at the airport, few euros saved are not worth the time wasted. "
" Picked up the car (fiat Panda gasoline engine) with full tank of fuel, fuel gauge divided into 7 squares. After driving 15km, lost first square. Looks like the traditional scam where the car is refuelled or defuelled just to show legally full tank when you start it, while is missing few liters already. On the damage list, one of the tire cover wasn't listed, while the oter was. So far I haven't found yet a car hire that has ALL damages writtend down and and none omitted. "

" Only two things that could be improved: - I received a notification that my rental needed approval before being confirmed. It was "pending". Then it got "confirmed" but I never received any confirmation e-mail which would have been appreciated. I had to go online and log in to see the status of my reservation. - Secondly, I indicated that I was travelling in Switzerland. I didn't get a message updating my bill and showing me that I had to pay a 60 euros tax. I understand that it is mandatory, but getting the information before arriving to the counter would have been less surprising. The rest was fantastic, online experience, clarity of documentation, etc. "

" The experience with Auto Europe was fine but the fact that you would use a rental agency like Interent leaves questioning your competence. BTW the rental agency staff quote maligned Auto Euro's role as a broker. In the future, I'm likely to go directly to one of the known car companies even though they might charge me more. "
" A very unpleasant pick up experience. A very hard sell trying to get me to upgrade my vehicle then an even harder sell (virtually 8threatening-I can go into more detail if you're interested) to get me to add their own insurance. When both those attempts failed, they told me my booking was at 3pm and no car would be available before then (it was just after 2pm)unless I upgraded. I was fed up with their tactics and said I would wait. Finally at 2:45pm they produced a car that was filthy on the outside and just passably clean inside (but with dirty windows and glass). On a side note, I heard them tell a customer after me that they were more than an hour late for their booking and so the reservation was canceled and that they would have to do a new booking. The car was in good condition but the whole experience left me disgusted and uneasy during my entire trip wondering what they might invent as damages when I returned. The drop of was quick and uneventful but I would never ever rent from interrent again. "
