You should know how Europcar operate and in the end represent your brand with their behavior My reservation was made through https://www.autoeurope.eu/ for a Peugeot 2008 SUV, a choice I made to accommodate my young family during our travel. However, upon my arrival at the Europcar desk, the Sales Representative, Magda, immediately directed her attention towards upselling me to a larger SUV, citing the car I initially booked as being of Compact Class. She proceeded to display images that portrayed the car as smaller than it actually was, making my selected vehicle seem inadequate. It's worth noting that the Peugeot 2008 SUV I initially reserved was perfectly suitable for my requirements. Unfortunately, due to my fatigue following an early flight, Magda's persistent attempts at persuading me to upgrade became a source of added stress. She insisted that the upgraded vehicle would be more suitable for my needs, repeatedly overlooking my preferences and the suitability of the car I had initially selected. Furthermore, the matter escalated when Magda began discussing the insurance coverage. Despite having already secured a standard insurance package through the autoeurope booking, Magda claimed that I had no insurance coverage. She manipulated this situation by asserting that the location I was visiting, Ibiza, was prone to driving/parking risks and that I would be better off opting for the premium insurance package. Additionally, I specifically inquired if an additional driver could be included, to which Magda agreed verbally, but disappointingly failed to honor this commitment later. I was presented with a contract in Spanish, which I could not obviously understand. The quoted amount on this contract did not incorporate the autoeurope booking amount, leading me to believe that I was being charged a new full price. Two days later, upon reviewing my credit card statement, I realized that I had been billed only for the upgraded price, resulting in a payment of over EUR 1100. This was a shocking difference from my original budget of EUR 400. The impact of this entire episode on my holiday experience casted a shadow of frustration and disappointment. The unexpected financial burden, amounting to three times my initial budget, was very unpleasant that tainted what was meant to be an enjoyable car rental. I firmly believe that the approach taken by Magda was not only aggressive but also egregiously misleading. This experience has left me with an indelible negative impression of Europcar's service standards, prompting me to vow never to utilize your services again. " The experience with KEDDY wasn't at all good. We were presented at Europcar exactly at time. (which was the company who manages the service ). up to that fine. We waited for around 45 min to get to the desk and then the desk person start telling us so many bureaucracies that wasn't understandable. We asked him on what the reason on that, and he said: You should have been book directly at Europcar as we don't take responsibility of what is your contract with Autoeurope. the same also said by his manager. Than asking for additional insurance, because if no you can't take the car. We left and returned back after and hour ( shift changes ), made additional insurance in order to take the car. Definitely the experience was bad. bye. "
" GPS only charged using direct USB connector; no clear directions to return location at Atoches train station. Very confusing,frustrating. Not on your company, but fuel costs and tolls were expensive and added up. Not Europcar's fault but still culture shock for me, otherwise service and reliability and all excellent. The GPS didn't like 'Finisterre' or 'porto' but accepted Finistra and 'oporto'. "

" I am pretty disappointed with autoeurope. I had reserved a car with AutoEurope (EU10681445-1) and no where on the website was it mentioned that GoldCar does not rent car on US license and when I reaached at Granada Airport I was refused a car. After Frantic calls to the customer care I was pointed to fine lines in the terms and conditions and since it was a prepaid rental I stand to loose all my money. Finally I was offered a car from Keddy which was way more expensive and also a day later leading to lot of discomfort and expense to me. Also the one way rental fee was incorrectly mentioned as 60 Euros because I was charged close to 76 euros. "

" Although somebody at the German office told us that the local office in Reus would be open in the morning till 14.00, we found the office closed( 1-5-16 ). Upon arrival we received a voucher with different numbers than what we have paid and although we take F/F we (on the voucher) found a amount refuelling ( 18,70-) this all is a bit confusing for us. Easy understandable paperwork would be very helpful for your international customers!!!!! "
