They did this last time around as well, so there is clearly a policy here from Dollar / Hertz to charge fictitious additional fees to increase their profits. This behaviour is morally dubious at the best of times, but surely suicidal in the current circumstances as this is now the topic I talk about when discussing Dollar / Hertz. "

They also said that when I changed the time on my reservation that I changed the size of the car requested, but they gave me a 5 passenger car regardless; however it was a smaller vehicle than requested. " Hello, The trip was with one major problem.The main driver did not have a credit/debit card.It is partially our mistake but please be advised that th epayment was made by Nikolay G Smokov card and you have accepted it.In any other country if the card holder is present we do ot have any issues but not in Spain.Please make it more clear as a WARNING that the the deposit can be blocked only on the Driver's debit/credit card.The mistake cost us additional driver and Full insurance and resulted in 160 euro more so it was totally overpriced rental.As I said it was our mistake as well but I really think that if you are able to book with another card that is a prerequisite for the problem that we had.So if you use another card - A WARNING or Cancel "

" 1. pick up: rapido, hanno tentato di vendere le loro polizze assicurative ma con un'insistenza moderata; il veicolo era diverso ma della stessa classe; il veicolo era praticamente nuovo (3600 km), super accessoriato e puito; 2. drop of: anche queste operazioni molto rapide e senza alcun problema. Unica nota negativa, che comunque non mi ha disturbato più di tanto, l'obbligo di pagare il pieno di carburante anticipatamente ( 70,00) ad un prezzo decisamente eccessivo per la Spagna, poi sarebbero stati rimborsati se consegnato il veicolo con il pieno. Ho optato a consegnare il veicolo praticamente a secco per non aver problemi del minimo rabbocco 1/2 litri ecc.. Ringrazio per il GPS installato nel veicolo, avevo dimenticato il mio a casa. "

I had to spend 20 minutes going around in a taxi until we finally understood that DOLAR is HERZ. "
