My booking had to be changed from Enterprise to Budget but my email confirmation from Auto Europe didn't highlight this. This led to a lot of confusion at the Enterprise desk - a delay of 30 minutes and a phone call to Auto Europe before we realised what had happened. If the car rental company is changed, I think that information should be shared via email with the renter. Again, the staff in Auto Europe were a pleasure to deal with. "

However , the fuel tank was nearly empty and I had to fill for 40 EUR gasoline. I even had to pay 46 EUR fuel guaranty if I didnt bring the car with full tank!!! - On the return of the car, a piece was missing ( left mirror casing ) that I had not noticed . Bugdet charges me for this 375 EUR !!!! The cost of this piece is max . 20 EUR. I had taken the SuperCover protection, so I hope that AUTOEUROPE will pay me back for this . In conclusion, very long and inexcusable delays to get the car and totally disproportionate charge for the damages ! I am really disappointed with my last experience with BUDGET Spain! On this service in faq I read that to correct information we need to enter 6 or 8 digits. For my card first 8 digits give correct information about my Ukrainian bank and country. I have reservations in past with same credit cards in Hertz and Europcar for the same type of cars and this reservations was excellent. After that manager said to me that he won't give us car, that I booked, he said to me that he can give me type of car with another my credit card. I war agree. And he began to reserve. And when he saw that my reservations was not from Spain and was from Germany( all bookings through Autoeurope is from Germany) - he said to me that he wouldn't give us any car. " I rent a Seat Leon, that probably have a 1.0 or 1.2 Turbo Engine with 6 gear. I received a "similar car" Renault Capture (brand new -10 km, anyway other from my category does not exist!). In 2019 a car with 5 gear can't be accepted, more than that the engine it's worst ever 90 CP with Naturally Aspirated engine instead a Turbo! As an idea, with an automatic pilot set at 120 km / h on a flat road, if there was a climb of more than 4 degrees, it was not strong enough to maintain speed and reached somewhere at 110 (even if we were kicking in the 4th speed it was not enough!) " Our car was very dirty, all covered in mud, dust and dead bugs. The inside, seats and floor of the car, were full of sand. We went back to the desk to complain ad we were told that it must have been a mistake and another car, different make and model, was offered, but we declined because we preferred the Renault that we had been given initially. I signed the documents digitally saying that the car was not damaged and that it had no scratches before I even saw the vehicle. After seeing the car, and how dirty it was, it could well have been damaged and scratched under the mud, but it wouldn't be visible. Upon returning the car after our 10-day period, nobody came to the car with me to verify that it was ok and without scratches. I asked if no one would come and verify the car in my presence, and they said that someone would do it later. This worries me, because there is not guarantee that my credit card will not be charged for damages after I'm already out of the country, since I have no proof from the desk staff that I delivered the car without any issues. The car itself was a nice vehicle. A Renault Captur was confortable, performed well and was a pleasure to drive. It was just dirty and not what I'd expect from a rental vehicle. "
