" We ordered mini size car, but the rental company said they were overbooked and the small car is not available. We were offered free upgrade to 9 person minibus,which they claimed to be the only car available on that day. I wouldn't mind bigger car, but on the island Corfu with narrow roads, this was dangerous choice. Since there were no other option, we took it. But the car was not ready, they needed to transfer it from another branch and clean it. While we waited, we saw the same kia picanto which we ooriginally ordered to be returned by previous renter. We came back to the office and asked to change the car back to the small one, but they refused to do anything and said they don't have anything else. Rude & poor customer service. "

" AE is a reliable portal which I have used on previous occasions and I am glad to see that the COVID pandemic has not adversely affected its reliability. "

" Car category ordered was not available on arrival, hence was given a vehicle 1 category lower. It sufficed for our needs, but previously when this occurred during prior reservations through AE, the companies involved either offered an upgrade in vehicle or a small discount to offset the increased charges incurred. "

" I end up renting a car from a Hertz office. The car has been in perfect condition. I have been thoroughly informed about the insurance package and other info prior car delivery. They have enough rental offices in athens. Would recommend it! "
