The bottom line was: I was charged twice! I was charged by Auto Europe (as I was deposed to) and I was charged twice as much by Sixt company directly. "

" Relatively new car but experienced tire pressure warning (light) soon after pickup. Discovered rear right tire had been overinflated to initially remove warning. Drop off in Paris not straight forward. Parked car where instructed but no Sixt rep present. Needed to go to office in rail station to hand over key. "

" Great car, check in service and drop off experience (Nice Airport, France). My only suggestion is for pick up staff to explain that certain cars in France require a specific nozzle at the gas station for refueling. This can be confusing, as in my car (Alfa Romeo SUV), the gas tank would only accept a "B7" diesel nozzle, but it was not obvious to the inexperienced driver. "

" Very friendly & extremely helpful customer service. I lost my wallet in Paris the night before we were supposed to pick up the rental to begin our road trip down to the south of France & back up through the Alps. I didn't have my drivers license or any form of payment plus I was 2 hours late to pick up the rental because we were trying to track down my wallet by going to every place we had been the night before. I couldn't get ahold of Sixt on the phone so I called the number on my Auto Europe reservation. The woman who helped me was so sympathetic & told me that although she didn't think the situation looked good because most agencies don't allow for last minute changes, that she was going to try to work directly with Sixt to explain the situation & see if they could help. It all ended up working out & the woman really helped to calm me down over the phone. Highly recommend. "

" I was warned against renting a car from anyone other than Sixt while traveling in Europe due to other places hidden fees & inflexibility. Even though it looked like it was going to cost a little bit extra, I headed friends' warnings & booked with Sixt. Very very glad I did. I lost my wallet in Paris the night before we were supposed to pick up the rental to begin our road trip down to the south of France & back up through the Alps.
