" I think AVIS/Budget should see how to make the MG Hybrid more reliable and not have the obligation to recharge the hybrid battery. "

" The Avis/Budget staff were very good. They gave me a new vehicle with 17km on the counter. It was a hybrid MG. However, there seems to be a design problem when the hybrid battery is empty for some reason the small battery for the normal engine is under stress and the car stalls with an empty battery. The car stalled at a light at 1am and I had to call a tow truck. The staff gave me another MG hybrid with 37,000km that drove well but again when the hybrid battery was empty the car would not even open ... Luckily we were with friends and were able to jump start the car, giving us access to the hybrid battery charger, charged the hybrid battery and drove around to recharge the 12V engine battery. It seems to be a design flaw between then Hybrid battery and the normal 12V vehicle battery. I am pretty sure AVIS/Budget are as upset with this as the customers. It is either a design flow with the MG Hybrid or a bad setting that needs to be changed quickly. "

" Smooth rental. However, the cheap Fiat I rented had ornamental clips fallen off due to cobble stone road. And I had to pay 232 euros for that. I would consider that normal wear and tear "

" I booked a car of automatic, they assigned me a manual car. I spotted it and they find another one. They assumed me requiring full protection and put it on contract, I spottd it and they amended it, however, I got notification from bank that they charged it on my credit card. When I returned the car, I asked them to provide written confirmation no such charge on my credit card, they refused and asked me to contact customer service. When I picked up the car, they only stated the car conditions on contract, no one checked the car with me. They told me I can check it myself and took a photo if I found additional damage, showed the photos to them when returning the car, this puts the risks on me. "
