" AutoEurope has always been great but this was not a good experience even though the car was good and the price very reasonable. "
" It took us two hours to rent the car at Athens even though there were five staff and only one other customer. We booked with them because we were supposed to be able to drop the car off in Peraius before our cruise but when we rented the car we were told we had to return the car by noon, hours before we intended. Our contract from you clearly stated that they were open all day but they said the hours had changed and they refused to honor the contract. "

" Auto Europe offered many options to choose from and made everything quite easy to select and confirm. Therefore, I would not mind recommending them to a friend. "
" We did not receive the car we wanted even if it was parked next to the car we have been given. It is a pity as we do not know why we got a lesser car than the one we wanted but at the same time we paid the same price anyway. The staff was polite and the they performed the delivery and drop off without any issues. The location of CARWIZ is a bit far away from the airport's terminals but they offer a free van service to go back and forth. "

" While on the phone you said I would get my money back for this reservation, I have received nothing. Moreover, you made another reservation for me on the phone which was useless due to the impossibility of dropping off the car at our chosen location. You said we'd get this money back too, but I have received nothing. So currently you are holding on to about 500 euros from me, having provided no cars. I have used Auto Europe for years, but never again, and I will take legal action if I don't get my money back soon. "

" I have been using AutoEurope for nearly 20 years now and have always had a good experience. Especially with customer support. And I will continue using AutoEurope in the future. "
" I am not sure about other CarWiz branches, but Athens Downtown office gave me a car that was in a very bad condition. There was very little windscreen liquid when we received the car and we used it in two attempts to wash the windscreen. The tyres were pumped up to a very dangerous level and there were no information on how much there should be. So I went online to do a research. Where it should have been 2 psi in the front and 1.8 psi at the back, we were given a car that had 236 kPa in the left front tyre, 260 kPa in the right front tyre, 236 in the rear left tyre and 240 in the rear right tyre. Also the salon had a very strong chemical smell that made me sick. The air-con was very weak and didn't cool the car as it should have. And the inside cover of the boot was broken in half. There were plenty of scratches and bumps on the body of the car, too. The car was a 2018 model Opel Corsa with a milage of 103,000km. It didn't have enough power to get us up the hill swiftly. The only upside was the manual gearbox. I have rented all sorts of cars, but never had received a car in such a bad and unkept condition. "

" I have been renting cars in Thessaloniki several times a year for 4 years... This is by far the worst experience. Harassment at pick up to take additional insurance for the car and for roadside assistance and then claims of a new scratch up return. Strange behaviour of the staff: threats that any new scratch would cost me 300 EUR and finding a mysterious new scratch at the end. Quite outrageous to be frank. I read reviews with similar experiences. "

" Be careful and take pictures of all the scratches. That is a genaral rule of course but it is the first time that there was a thorough check at drop off and a scratch was found that was not in the overview. The video I took was not clear enough to prove or not that it existed beforehand. "

" I have rented car from them several time in the passed and I was very satisfied. This time staff was very unprofessional and the car was in very bad condition. After our arriving we called them and we asked their arrival time. They confirmed arrival after maximum 15 min. We didn't go in cafeteria for coffee and we wait in car parking for the 35 min. At the counter we asked insurance with zero excess. We were told that this insurance is not available. After we insist that we had it and before they checked better and they found it. At the same time they only have one car for the transport from airport to their office causing delays. Also the last comment from them but the worst as concern autoeurope was the fact that they complain that we didn't rent the car directly from them and we used autoeurope. As you can see from our account all the rentals we make are through autoeurope. The reason is that we are very happy with your service and reliability. We will continue using you but not car wizz "

" When I arrived at the car pick up station, it was closed and I called the Auto Europe Service hotline. I explained, that I was in need of assitance, but I was put in the waiting line for more than 10 minutes. No one was helping be actually. "
" The car rental office should have been located at the parking in front of the airport, actually it is almost 500 m walking next to a street with no pedestrien. When we arrived at the office of carwiz it was closed and no one was there. Also no sign was saying anything about opening hours or a telephone number to call. So I was calling the autoeurope service hotline, explained the problem and was hold in the waiting line for almost 10 minutes without anyone helping me. Then someone from carwiz arrived and opened the office, very unfriendly, no explanation or apologies for the waiting. When we arrived at the car, the gasoline tank was only filled 1/3 (see photo attached) I was asking why the tank was not full and the answer was „It is like that, bring it back like this, bye." "

" Excellent service from Katherine at both the collection and drop-off of the vehicle at Mercury Car Rental. Although the general presentation of the car was fine, the key activated central locking wasn't working, (a pain during the heavy rains and in the evening when it was dark), and a rear brake light wasn't working which we only realised after collecting the car and arriving on our next island. "
" Despite having completed the Carwiz pre-arrival details to enable a fast collection of the car, none of the details had been forwarded to the local agent. This was particularly disappointing as we had a short connection time between our flight and car ferry. "

" It should have been clearly marked, that the rental office is far far away from arrivals hall, and minibus will take me there. "
" The rental office was 1.5 km away from airport arrivals. Shuttle transport was organized by Carwiz but it was not easy to find the minibus. Counter service was really slow. I had to wait 40 minutes in queue, and all the procedure took more than 1.5 hours before we got the car. My family - wife and 3 children had to wait all the time in arrivals hall. Quite frustrating... "
