" OK because I didn't need any interventions but last year, when I had an accident which I needed to claim, the experience wasn't great at all. I gave AE the benefit of the doubt and tried them again this year. "
" No hitches. All went smoothly. The car wasn't well cleaned because of peak season, I suppose, which was a minor inconvenience. There was a bit of a wait at the counter to pick up the car but the staff was efficient and cordial. "

" The directions on the paperwork were out of date so it took me ages to find the desk. "
" The man who served us chatted to the customer in front of us for ages-obviously grinds of his, he let them have an extra driver on the policy for free- I was told I had to pay! I was advised to take out the extra cover- the words used were then you can smash it up or whatever!! On return a rude man took my keys and said he'd let me know if there was any damage but if I'd paid extra it didn't matter! The car was fine but customer service poor. I also have £300 pending in my credit card- not happy. "
