" The car was of an inferior category than the booking. I booked for an "economy" category (i.e. Ford Fiesta) and received a "mini" category (Hyundai i10). The car was not really new for a rental vehicle of company of that size. It run almost 9.000 km before my rental and apart from the above the company implemented the "full to full" gas policy without filling the tank before hand over. After about 10 km the gas gauze already dropped by a bar! The counter personnel tried to humour my comment about the size of the vehicle saying that all the small categories are the same! No checking of the car at drop off, to get some kind of a receipt, although that saved my time and effort. Most likely I will not choose Dollar (or even Hertz as are their parent company) in the future. "

" Hertz Stuttgart Airport charged me for pre-existing damage to the car. These pre-existing damages were shown to me on the tablet by a Hertz employee. I even took a picture of the image from her tablet specifically showing the damages were on the car. When I returned the car that same evening after having driven for only 76 kilometers to-and-from a friend's house, the 24-hour parking garage at the airport was not properly marked once I've driven inside. Then two days later I received an email from Hertz Germany stating I would be charged €321 for "damage" to the left side car. The car diagram on the attachments show the SAME exact pre-existing damage that was on the Fiat 500 according to the document Hertz Stuttgart Airport made me sign before I rented the car. Not only that, the accompanying pictures of the car itself were all showing the right side of the Fiat. This is the first time I've ever used your services ; this will also be the last. You are partnering with a very shady company in Hertz/Dollar Germany. This incident is by far the WORST car rental experience I've ever had in over thirty years of travel. Shame on you people. "

Without any word spoken of it, Dollar had signed a very expencive extra insurance to me - basically tripleing the original rental price (that already icluded insurance cover), which I could learn about only when having returned the car and had to fight to get rid of thereafter. I was also charged additional sums not indicated in the voucher and no clear answer was given to me, where did such costs derive from and how come there was no previous information about such costs in the deal, neither where these explained to me when picking up the car. The final bill given to me at the counter is completely unclear and you need a magician to understand whatfor something was actually charged. Just pure cheating. "

In case, the refund of 55 euro is not made, I will describe the situation in some Internet forums , how your company and Dollar want to collect from customers money, that they need not pay. I reserved from your company, because you were recommended by friends of mine, who are your clients for about than ten years. They are also sure, that will not work with you, anymore, in case you do not deal with the problem! "

" Not good, but hoping to get things rectified. I had 3 major problems. 1- the website states and strongly implies that only premium vehicles are "limited miles per day" vehicles. I booked a 4 door fiat, not a premium vehicle and did not notice it was not unlimited miles so I was charged an extra €200. 2- the credit card information I provided online was fraudulent used by Hertz to bill me $400 plus for another vehicle I didn't rent. 3- I selected and paid for extra car insurance at the time of booking and was billed for it again by Hertz "
