" Booking process of the car was easy. As I'm not renting cars to often, it is always a challenge to understand in human language, what responsibility will be left on my shoulders with what insurance coverage. I'm not sure, if it is possible, but it would simplify things, if some examples of possible insurance cases would be brought out to illustrate the insurance offerings. "

" The counter staff was very professional and pleasant. He did not try to overly push for the extra insurances from Hertz on top of the selections done by me through Auto Europe. The only question mark was that we booked the car with the possibility to visit neighbouring countries as well, but there seemed to be some complication with the paperwork and the counter staff asked, if it is really necessary. "

" The car was missing the cover to the spare wheel area in the trunk which lead to all things which I loaded collapsed. Unfortunately I realized it the next day as when I put my large cases in the carpet was covering it. However Alamo responded very well and also offered the exchange of the car which I didn't take as it would have been inconvenient. Therefore they promised me an upgrade for my next rent which is fair. "

He told me go to counter to clear the return, but in the counter, they just ask about keys (those were left with the car). Deposit: quit high guarantee to be 800 EUR (more then usual ). "

" If a customer is renting a car you supposed to provide the car. I think a Tiguan was cheaper than a Skoda that's the reason why I chose it. In the end I received a car which was smaller but paid for a bigger one! "

" I ordered an Skoda Superb estimate, but received a Volkswagen Tiguan. I needed the large car for our luggage (4 pieces). For additional 30€ a day I was able to rent a Volkswagen Touareg. It's sad that only one car was possible to choose. "

" Usually good choice cars at competitive prices.usually. excess refunds, unlimited mileage and full insurance are key to me using. Need better discounts for loyal long term customers. "

" Car was dirty inside and out including bird droppings. Counter man did warn me in advance but could say why. He said he would talk to manager about discount but so far no credit has been given. Drop off was strange.no staff to hand over the car to for wg condition check, fueling check, time, mileage check, just an empty garange. I left keys in drop box. Road Signs to the rental return from airport approach roads are terrible making it difficult to find. "

" I found the autoeurope site to be precise on all the critical info and I had no surprises during the rental or after it. Overall really good and highly suggestible. "

I have to make a separate comment for the guy at the drop-off, I think his name was Tomas, I needed a cart because I had many luggage, unfortunately I had no coins to pay for it. During the reservation process I marked the "other countries - Austria, Italy" option. Obvious my intention was to pass Autria and the north of Italy (a lot of mountains). Usually, the cars from the top companies does not have 35.000 km (may be at Thirfty or Maggiore). "

" The car I got had more scratches than marked, but the person in the garage was very helpful and marked every scratch. However at the drop-off there was only one colleague who was only responsible for showing me where to park the car and told me to report my issue to the office inside the building. So I did. I had one issue with the car that even if I refuelled it full, the fuel meter/display did not show full, only about 7/8. So on the next gas station I put an extra 4,5 L into the car. The tank was so full that the benzin started to flow out of the car tank, so I assume the meter is wrong in the car. Luckily I had the bills from the stations and showed them to the person at the counter in the office. He said that the car is not yet checked in, so he doesn't see the full details, but recorded my issues to the rental and told me if I get any charge on my card write and email. I noticed that they charged me around extra 74 EUR. I asked them why exactly, but no reply yet. Do you have a contact to them? "

" I bought the zero excess package and it was unclear what was included. The rental company offered me extra insurance which what I thought I had already bought, but it covered additional things that the zero excess package did not cover. This should be much clearer, and I should be able to buy all insurance packages directly in auto europe to prevent being surprised by extra costs at the counter. "

" I had rented a compact manual BMW 1 series, but Europcar gave me a superior Audi A6 automatic. This was perfect since we were driving from Nuremberg to Berlin on the autobahn and driving the Audi was great. "

Extras were €148.05 (included additional driver). Man at desk had limited English, etc. Thrifty not good "

" Earlier it was possible to find prices for most of the extras, like cross-border fee, additional driver, etc.. during the booking process via the conditions without going too far in the process. Even when "hidden in texts", it was possible to find them. After changes to layout and presenting the term only later, it is now very laborsome to find out the fees for extras. They are often quite substantial and vary a lot, so it would be nice if these would be easily findable. "

" Overall, a smooth experience, except points above. "

" Everything went smooth - except: 1. Available vehicle for rent was CCAR - Opel Crossland - inferior in engine and ride quality from VW Golf proposed. 2. Car was rented under "zero excess" condition (higher price). The Europcar rep. explained that it is not different than "refundable excess". Meaning that, in case of an accident they will deduct 950 EUR excess which I will get eventually from Auto - Europe. This is the same as refundable excess, so I can't understand why I paid more for "zero excess". 3. Return procedure was too quick, as the rep. urged me to leave the keys and they will check it later. This procedure is prone to many "surprises" later where it is possible for them to indicate car damages, fuel not full, etc. "

" Definitely not a good experience for getting a car that's not what we wanted. "

" We reserved a compact, automatic car but when we arrived, the agent tried to give us a manual car, saying no automatic available. When we insisted, he got us a BIG automatically suv after waiting at the counter for 30 minutes. He said that's the only car he's got so we had no choice but took it. The car was ok but just too big. We ended up scratching the side of the car a bit when trying to park at a garage an hour later. So even though the staff were courteous, we will never rent with Enterprise again. "

" Everything was fine, apart from the service at the counter. We arrived at about 20:00 and there was nobody at the counter. A man came out of the office after 20 minutes. He was very impolite and tried to make fool of us. He told as that the car was at parking space 31, which was incorrect. We checked using the electronic keys a number of lines and after 10 minutes we were lucky to find our car. Whole experience very unpleasant. The service at the drp off was exceptionally good! "

I asked him what would happen if the renter doesn't have a cell phone or is somewhere in an area without cell service? He just shrug his shoulder. Also the return location is in a tiny street quite a distance from the train station. No lift to the station was offered and we had to drag our luggage for 700 meters to the station. We are seniors and it wasn't easy. Very inconvenient location and not very friendly or helpful staff. "
