" I booked with Budget through Auto Europe and the car was in poor condition. I was surprised as Budget has a good rating but the inside was not cleaned well, there was damage on the back of the vehicle and the rear windscreen wiper was missing. They already noted that the veg¡hicle was damaged but not about the wiper so I mentioned this and there was not change offered. A week of driving in the rain was very difficult! "

" I was disappointed with lack signs for the car hire rental village at Manchester airport . We ended up going around in circles and the only we managed was because asking a bus driver who happened to know the area. The only sign available was just close by the village. There should be more on the to better guide drivers towards it. "

" Very quick, efficient and smooth service both at car pick-up and drop-off. Only thing is that one has to inspect the car carefully before pick up as the damage to the body, wheels and glass are not fully captured in the initial document provided by the counter staff. Only once the deficiencies are pointed out by the client, do they mark it on the document at the time of exiting the parking bay. "

" Car was clean inside and outside with some minor bodywork damage, scratches, small dents, nothing major, but not all were noted on the documentation. These were not an issue on the return of the car. "
" Budget emailed me (in german) about one week before the hire asking me to complete an online "QuickPass". Upon arrival I waited a couple of minutes at the QuickPass desk before someone came and took my license and credit card to confirm the details and then take me to my car. This was very efficient and I would do the same again if it was offered. "

" Great place to rent a car! I appreciated all the information provided to make pickup easy. One thing that was frustrating is on the website you had a list of pickup and drop off locations that you had to select. Many times I'd pick a location and it said that I have to pick a different place. Just don't show a location if I can't pickup or drop off there. That would save a lot of effort and frustration. "

" I've got an automatic VW Golf diesel with ACC from 0 plus front and rear parking sensors. This was gold for someone who is not used to drive on the left side of the road. The only thing I've wished to have more, at least in first day, was the LKAS to keep me in the middle of the line because I had the tendency to get to close to the cars on my left. Anyway, at the end I've returned the car without any incident and the return path at Budget car park in Luton Airport is straight forward, you just have to follow the signs. "

" Really good experience. At the desk, everything went smoothly, the staff was friendly. When I took the car, there were scratches on many places where it was not written in the protocol (the car was like new, though, but in Italy, at another car rental a few months ago, they made an inventory of every single scratch and so now I was more careful). So they added it to the protocol, friendly and with a smile. When I returned the car, they said everything is ok. I didn t receive any protocol, nothing at all. Actually, I have not even a proof that I gave the car back. But it seems to be working that way in Scotland and actually, I like it :) "

" I am American, not used to driving on the wrong side in a busy city like London with strange signage, road markings, etc. You must have many customers like me. I desperately wanted a map and clear instructions for getting out of London with least possible risk. The counter had no maps whatsoever, and instead printed 3 pages of Google maps instructions with 64 steps that were impossible to navigate, as though this would give me a sense of direction, and provided no explanation of major differences on signage, rules of the road, etc. The car came with a navigation system, but this was hard to use and provided no help. I had to manage my way out of London on my own, in the process putting myself and your vehicle at great risk. The counter staff cared only about signing me up and handing me the keys. Once out of London, I was fine, but this was a very unhappy and harrowing experience. An appalling way to treat a US customer. "

" Budget is usually my first option. This has been the third time collecting a vehicle from them at Luton. The desk sstaff person even remember me from the previous ocassion. This was quite amazing and made one feel good that someone remember them as a customer. "
