" The usual of an intermediary, you know the conditions of the rental in advance, that is clear. But the communication between Autoeurope and the final agency is very basic, for example, it was not highlighted that my flight was landing close to closing time. "
" New company, very formal. The biggest inconvenient is that since it is not based in the airport it needs a shuttle and the working hours are more limited (only 8h to 20h). My flight arrived late and very close to 20h, and the shuttle did not wait for me. "

" - while waiting for pickup at the Faro airport many buses from other rental companies came and picked up their clients. After a while I called Tangerine and asked them to send the pickup car - at the Tangerine Faro location there was only 1 employee handling the clients 1 at a time. All this waiting added to a night long flight - at the time I was given the car I was given a damage report in Portuguese with only 8 items. Although I don't speak English I noticed numerous scratches on the car and I took pictures. Every picture has at least 3 scratches. I notified the employee and I was told I will be emailed an updated damage report. I should have refused the car but I waited way too long and everybody especially my kids were very tired. - I contacted |Tangerine by phone 2 days later asking the updated damage report because it was not sent to me as promised. I was told once again that I will receive it by email but again it was not sent. - I called again Tangerine several days later. The lady that answered told me she cannot do anything, I have to call the same number on WhatsApp. Nobody picked u the WhatsApp call but they sent me the damage report after asking for it on the chat. THis time the damage report had 9 items so it was not reflecting the state of the car. Although I had full insurance I didn't want to deal with pre-existing damage. - when I returned the car in Lisbon I was told the car is OK. - I was returned the deposit but I am still waiting to be refunded for gas and tolls. - "

" Drop off was a bit problematic. Only two staff on site dealing with customers. Had to wait in excess of 30 minutes before the driver intervened on my behalf and checked over my car. "
" Couple of things to comment on. Arrived at car park 4 at Faro airport as instructed. No obvious place for collection by Tangerine or what vehicle looked like. Spoke to one of the other drivers who advised to look out for a white minibus with Tangerine logo on the front bonnet. Rang Tangerine to advise I was at CP 4 for collection. No answer on phone just a recorded message in Portugese!! Fortunately, the pick up mini bus arrived shortly after "

" There was nobody at the desk when I went to pick up the car despite having given my arrival information when I booked the car. It took two phone calls and over 45 minutes for them to show up. When they did, there was €66 of additional charges that had to be paid on top of the rental cost - no mention of these when booking. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. "
