" I am a long-time (> 25 years) customer of AutoEurope and for me it is the most convenient and safest way to rent cars for business and leisure. The client interface is great and the Voucher System is also very good and always served me well with any rental car company (except with Goldcar, see above...). I always recommend AutoEurope in my network for rental car reservations. "
" Goldcar Lisbon was the worst experience I ever had for renting a car. Clients with reservations were put into a line and it took over 1 hour until my number was almost coming up. After one hour 20 min waiting time, I asked for a number without reservation, which was served in 5 min. In other words, clients without a reservation could immediately get to the counter, while clients with a reservation had to wait for about 1.5h in line. Each client took about 15 min to finish the rental formalities, because the Goldcar staff was apparently trying to sell all kinds of extra services to any client. In more than 40 years renting cars for business and leisure, I have never experienced such inefficiency. Also, I had reserved a compact SUV via AutoEurope, but I received a Kia Stonic, which I would consider a rather small car, rather than an SUV. I always had excellent experiences with rentals done via AutoEurope, but this rental was an extreme low point. I would recommend to include Goldcar for AutoEurope rentals in the future. I will never rent from Goldcar again. "

The reason was that they cannot accept debit and charge credit cards (because of some policy they can't hold the money, that was the excuse), however for the petrol they managed to hold an extra €150 - how interesting. These guys are scam, be aware, I used all these cards for renting cars around the world and never had problems. "
