This lack of flexibility means there is no advantage to using autoeurope. I get discounts from Avis and Hertz anyway, through airline partnerships, and those prices are consistently lower than autoeurope. So, I very much doubt I will use autoeurope again. "

" Fiat Punto is very weak vehicle (we are noted about that when we got the car) - there is a streets with 32% of slope. There was an issue with loading the tank full of fuel - fuel level sensor showed wrong scale first and needed to drive 10 minutes to show FULL. First I thought that it is impossible to reach FULL, because the pointer arrow on the board showed one point lower than FULL when the fuel pump stopped automatically (because the tank is full). At the end everything was fine. "

" My problem is not with Alamo but with Auto Europe. Your voucher - needed to pick up the car - does not state that you need a credit card. So I turned up at the pickup point and, after much deliberation, Alamo let me take the car, provided I bought a full access insurance cover from them. Had I known it, I would have brought a credit card with me on my trip. So can you please make sure that as well as in the confirmation email you state quite clearly on your voucher 'YOU MUST HAVE A CREDIT CARD' with you in order to rent the car. "
