" Auto Europe, You do Your job really good! Thank You! "

" We had a very bad experience with our recent car rental at Thriffty at San Francisco Airport. When booking the car, we chose and paid for car insurance (we chose standard insurance, the only thing that was not included was Optional Premium Emergency Roadside Service (PERS)). At the counter, the lady asked us if we wanted any additional insurance and we explicititly said no, that we only want what we already chose and paid for when booking the car. She said ok and to sign the papers then. She then requested the credit card that we used when booking the car. Soon after we left the place, Thriffty charged us 124,18 $. We assumed it was some kind of deposit which we would get back upon returning the car. When we returned the car, we got a receipt, from which we saw that Thriffty actually charged us for roadside service in the ammount of 9,99 $ per day + taxes and realized we would not be getting our money back. This is something we did not order and did not agree to. Actually, we explicitly declined any additional services or charges when picking up the car. Something like this has never happened before and we did not expect to be scammed by a rental car company. "

" Ordering was easy, we expected to have everything included, but had to pay extra while picking the car "

" I was charged additional 594 dollars instead of 150 which were mentioned in the voucher. They said it is for insurance or something and there was no way to refuse it. First car they provided was a bit broken(fuel door didn't close, boot lid was not working) they changed it immediately, but we received smaller car (first was ford expedition, new one was ford explorer) however the car we received was almost new with really good fuel economy. "

" No any complaints about autoeurope.com, ecxellent experience many times. "

" We were literally tricked into buying extra insurance. Thrifty employee did not explain any of his actions, just said that he is going to charge our credit card for security deposit. Only after he charged credit card, he gave as print-out without any explanation. Later we understoods that instead of taking security deposit, he added insurances (PAI/PEC, Prem Road Serv) and fuel option "full-empty", which in total cost us extra 365 USD. Security deposit obviously was 200 USD, as total sum charged was 565 USD. During our servicing he did not mention any added costs and did not ask our approval for anything. Never before have we experienced a situation where an agent quietly adds what he wants without asking, so we in good faith did not pay attention to his actions. Of course we should have been more careful, but this kind of business is against any ethical norms and customer service rules. "

" When I picked up the card I refused when asked about additional service ( some, not all of them) but they charged them all on my card even though they confirmed they wouldn't. It's about 150€ so I didn't make a scene but that a horrible customer experience "

" Tutto bene, la macchina in ottimo stato, quasi nuova. Unica pecca al ritiro ci abbiamo messo molto tempo, quasi 1 ora, probabilmente c'era poco personale. Invece il drop off è stato velocissimo, basta lasciare la macchina con le chiavi nel piazzale e si può andare. Avevano detto di lasciare anche oco carburante che poi avrebbero fatto loro il pieno che era più conveniente, in realtà hanna fatto pagare più che al benzinaio... "

" Autoeurope made a mistake by booking, the price was to cheap, after we mailed a few times they give us the price we booked for. That was very kind of them. "

" We booked whit navigation but they told us it wasn't included. We had a voicer from Auto Europe whit the notice that we had a navigation i showed them but it was not in the Thrifty computer so we did not get it. Also they told us we must take the toll pass $10,48 per day. We had a no choise, friends had also booked by auto europe but another car rental they did not needed it, and pays cash about $3,- by crossong toll ways. We payed total $116,09 they payed about total $50,- "
