" I will recommend Auto Europe but not Avis. "
" The rental car performed fine. However, the counter staff at Avis in Seattle was quite unpleasant. Instead of offering explanations, she repeatedly said 'I am just doing my job' in a very impatient tone. We were actually very taken aback at her attitude. (We picked up the car at a very quiet time in the evening when there were few customers.) She also incorrectly informed us that the drop off charge would be billed at the time of drop off, when in fact the voucher showed that we had already paid for the car in full, including the drop off charge. This is the second time we have rented a car from Avis at SeaTac (through Auto Europe) and had poor customer service. As well, it is now more than 96 hours since we dropped off the car and the final bill has not yet been settled . (We had an extra driver for two days, which is the only extra cost we incurred.) "

" Price was good but would give you a 10 only if you start including National in your list. Their lineup of Luxury cars is appropriate to the name, you'd never get handed a Chrysler 300 there. They have plenty of Audi, BMW, Volvo, and Mercedes on hand. "
" What Avis considers a Luxury car is a bit of a joke. They wanted to give me a Chrysler 300 at first, a massive POS car that I'd be embarrassed to drive, they are ugly and guzzle gas, and do not crash well if you have a bad accident. Far more likely to get seriously injured or die than in a foreign car of the same caliber. They put all European cars in Specialty category to prevent them from getting rented under contracts (Including Volvo which is Premium or Luxury at any other brand). Finally I got a Genesis G70 which is a very nice car and seems appropriate for the Luxury category (unlike anything made by Chrysler), but did use a lot more gas than a Volvo S60 or S90. After this experience with what Avis / Budget consider Luxury, I think I'll try going back to National for similar rentals. "

" Overall very positive experience with Auto Europe especially the great price that AVIS by far did not offer from their own website which is unusual. Still got my membership privileges (upgrade). Usually I book directly at the top rental car companies as I´m a member there, but the currently crazy price levels triggered me to look for alternatives which I found with Auto Europe "

" We have been using auto europe for many years now, with no problems (except once in Portugal, when the car did not show up for over an hour!) "
" We have used AVIS for our last two bookings with autoeurope - the last one in Nizza and this one in Las Vegas. On both occasions there were not enough staff and we had to wait 40 minutes in Nizza and 35 in Las Vegas, which is a little to much. When we were served, the staff were very good indeed, so it is not a problem with them. The cars were excellent. "
