" - Dollar provided a Nissan Murano, which they label as equivalent to the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was mentioned on the voucher. In my view, the Murano is a level lower than the Grand Cherokee. - The counter staff was not friendly at all - rather blunt - The rental car had a strong cigarette smell "

" The booking system provides a very good overview of options and price structure. Prices are competitive and I have used Auto Europe many times, and plan on using them again. "

" The vehicle had been booked and confirmed 3 months in advance. Upon arrival, following an overseas flight of 10+ hours, it took 1.5 hours to get through the line and present the paperwork to the counter staff. Only then did I learn that there was a shortage of vehicles. I was asked to wait a few hours. I estimate that approximately 100 people were crowding the premise leaving mainly standing options, and an increasing level of frustration, leading to shouting between disgruntled customers and staff. In the end, after having waited for a total of 5 hours, the staff told me I could be waiting the entire night. I gave up and took a taxi to my hotel and returned the following day. I then got a vehicle. I asked about some sort of compensation for the long wait, the expenditure of 80+ dollars on taxi, and the delay of our vacation - and the fact that I was still charged for the full rental period. I was told that they could not do anything to accommodate the inconvenience. I have rented many cars in the past. This experience, in contrast, is by far the worst in terms of lack of customer service, information, lack of appreciation/reimbursement. I have a hard time recommending Dollar to anyone, and will not spend my money on this company in the future. "

" Always a pleasure to communicatie with Auto Europe, clear information and fast responses. "

" When we arrived at counter, all paper work was done. We then had to wait over 20 minutes because car had to be cleaned. When we picked it up, it wasn't very clean and certainly not just washed. The car had some small damage, we could find no one to report it too. Then someone came and told us to tell it to the person at the booth. We did, but he was surprised that we told him and said it would not be a problem. The car now and then had some notices when starting up about service being needed. The car had no window fluid and oil was just enough. Tyre pressure was low. It felt like it was not very well maintenanced. "

" This is my second trip renting with AutoEurope and I am generally very pleased. I am now aware of the fact that a credit card is required to rent in the U.S. regardless of the voucher payment to AutoEurope. Even though this is mentioned in the AutoEurope confirmation it should probably be given greater prominence in the renting process and the confirmation. "

" Everything went fairly smoothly. All rentals at IAD are off-terminal but the shuttle bus was already there and took us directly to the rental office and the return was equally smooth. The vehicle was the correct class as reserved and this particular small SUV (Buick Encore) got very good fuel economy for a U.S. automatic transmission vehicle. "

The staff was very friendly too. Return at las vegas was very quick. And the price offered was clearly the best. This is an unbeatable price/quality ratio. I was worried at first as this company was granted only 3 stars out of five, but my experience is worth 5+. "
