Only days after the rental and after I returned the car, I received a wrong (!!!) and nonrelevant reply from Auto Europe. The reply was opposite to the terms and conditions of the rental and showed that the person from Auto Europe who replied did not understand the terms of the rental!!!! The reply showed bad customer service and was misleading and not professional. I wasted valuable time on these communications with Auto Europe during my rental!!! If you know, that there is a long rental, you should provide a car, that won't need oil change in few days. Had to take my time to change the car in other location. The car change went smoothly and had a great experience. After leaving a car at the final destination, still no final reply / e-mail from the rental place (four days now after dropping of the car). The drop-off was quite chaotic. One employee says to leave the car at specific spot, then, while unloading the car, other employee says to move the car to other spot. After a while, the third employee says that I've left the car in wrong spot. "

We had another 2 hour journey to make to get to accommodation which took us 3 hours as we had to make several stops because we were so tired. Kids fell asleep in the airport waiting for car. Sat nav which I rented didn't work during our journey. We were lucky that there was one built into the car. When we returned the car, the staff did not charge us for the sat nav thankfully. However, for first few days we had a difficult time trying to get around as we did not have wi if outside the house on our phones and couldn't figure out how to work car navigation system. "

" I have used auto-europe and in general I like the way it functions. This is the first time I buy a full tank (it was coupled to a second-free-driver offer that was my real interest) and also the first time a company gives me a printed copy of the contract that does not reflect what I paid or asked for. I think I will skip Budget in the future, I find unacceptable that the printed contract does not match my request. I did not press them to print it back because I had just left the counter, the employee said everything was OK in the system and I found very stressful to stop other clients from getting their car after a 2hr waiting line. "

Maximum 4, at time 2 people attending at the counters, after a 9hr flight. -The application they use to generate the contract does not give the possibility to decline certain options, such as full tank bought or payment in USD instead of EUR, so the final printed copy did not reflect the offer I got (full tank) nor the payment I prefer (tolls etc) in USD vs. EUR. The budget staff at the counter assured that it was a template and everything was changed in the system. So far it is true as to the tank, as the employee at drop-off showed to me, but it would have been a problem otherwise if I had to file a complaint on this point. So far no idea about the tolls payment (EUR or USD), which are not reflected in the contract with auto-europe. -The USB port and 12V charger of the car did not function. No manual in the car, it was hard to pair the phone with bluetooth, configured only to do it stopped (co-pilot cannot set the navigation or sound system this while traveling). There was a hidden device option in bluetooth that took us some days to detect as the pairing-device problem. -There is a way to skip the line, either by joining their fidelity program or by paying 25USD on the spot, but this was not clearly shown in a sign, only shouted after some clients protested in loud voice 1.5 hr after we started to be in the line. "

" Hi, like to share some information about our rental. We went for a vw jetta or similar and the first car they provided us was a jeep renegade if i'm correct. So we said that we don't want a jeep but a car like a jetta, a sedan type of car. No problem for the man named james and he said he had a Chevrolet Impala wich was a bit higher in the class but he would give us the car for the same price. The car was very good and we went to pick up my friends luggage wich was delayed. When we wanted to lock the car with my luggage in the trank we noticed that the trunk won't lock at all. The doors of the car were locked but the trunk won't lock! So we went back and showed it to a employe and confirmed the malfunction. We went back to the office and james was surprised to see us back again and we told him about the problem. We said the car was great so we would like the same car but the only car for the same price would be the Toyota Camry, we said it was all good and we were off. Now when we brought the car back, in the same condition and with a full tank, the girl didn't mentioned any problems and give us a receit and said that we just need to take the shuttle to the airport so we don't need to get to the office. On the receit I saw a value off 400 dollars but in we were in a kind of a hurry and i tought it had something to do with the refund of the deposit or something. Yesterday when i was back at home i saw that my creditcard was billed for 400 dollars. Really don't know why because i think i paid already 575 euro or 666,6 dollars when i made the reservation. I send them an mail yesterday to ask them about that amount and hope to hear from them soon! We are not the type of guys who rapidly gonna complain but this we find realy unfair. " When picking up the car, the man behind the counter was misleading me about the contract. He was telling me that "these packages are included in your contract, just click accept on the screen and you will get the car", and since I was excited to get the car, I ended up having unnecessary personal injury insurance and extended road side assistance with the rental. After couple of days I noticed the additional charges in the contract, and called their customer service. Since I was in another state, they told me to go to nearest Budget location to fix my contract. Next day I visited a Budget location, but they could not do anything about it, and the customer service told me that there is nothing that can be done unless I personally visit the original renting location. I could not do that until returning the car. When I complained when I returned the car, I did get $50 discount from the fare, but I still had around $200 extra costs that I did not understand agreeing during the pick up. "

" The rental was ok but not great. Car was not serviced, laking power, AC was not working very well and it was nit really clean. Pick up was strange as I had to show my e.mail exchange with autoeurope to proove i have a free tank included, they said it means I have it included full but I have to return it full. One manager fixed that and same for extra drivers. "
