" I had a problem whereby I was able to book a car from Brussels Airport *but* I couldn't actually do it since I live in Belgium and therefore did not have an air flight ticket. I had to cancel my existing booking (not even being sure it would be fully reimbursed) and make a new booking from a different pick-up location. This should be better explained on Auto Europe website. As an additional minor comment, I could pick the car up from Avis in Ixelles but the website forced me to return it to a different location (because they're closed on Sunday). However, Avis allows you to return it on Sunday at no extra cost (which I eventually did). "

" Autoeurope is a great way of renting cars. They handle everything profesionally. Currently the rental company has disappointed me and give me no reason to use there services again. "
" Although the intake was fine. After i returned an undamaged car, i was surprised to see a charge of almost 3.000 euros on the car for whatever. After trying to contact AVIS, I was informed 72hours later that there was damage on the car. Major damage. The pictures are from a moved car. On a different location then where i parked it. Also the damage is ridiculous as the car has anti collision meters . So the damage was most likely made by the white car next to the car which i had parked my car next too. Currently they still response slow or not to my questions. "

Booking was done for COMPACT card (VW Golf, Ford Focus) and what was offered at AVIS was 3 super-mini car to choose from the poll. As a compensation, AVIS registered second driver for free. Second remark is regarding the clear explanation about car insurance, since the insurance we took via Auto Europe website is the one offered by Auto Europe and not offered by AVIS direcetly. "

" I was charged a total fee of Euros 234.97 by Auto Europe. The rental expressly includes äppropriate local sales taxes at the appropriate rates in force", which is noted on my voucher. Yet, without informing me, Avis has deducted 188.73 from my deposit amount which they were holding, on conclusion of the contract. On the invoice this amount is noted as "your taxable fees"-misc charges. This is wholly cheating. I was never told of this additional amount. Now I am unable to get customer services of Avis - the recorder says they are closed, even though the same recorder says they are open from 8 am to 9 pm every day. This is daylight robbery and I do not seem to have any recourse. It is shameful. "
