" Stayed 30 minutes to wait for the car to be delivered because they did not had a Station Wagon car in the parking although this was the requested car. Of course, in such situation, the should have normally offered an upgrade (SUV, MPV, etc.), not a smaller car as they tried initially. After I explained that I need a car with big trunk, they told me I have to wait 30 minutes until they bring one from other location, instead of giving an upgrade and saving my time. "

" Auto Europe is good. Used it many times. But Dollar was an unacceptable experience, which I will not be repeating. "

" 45 minutes long line at pick-up desk. When I got to the car the gas was not completely full but probably only 3-5 liters short so of course I did not go back to wait another 45 minutes. At drop off no receipt given. I specifically requested one but was just told they would email. Didn't receive anything by email (no, it's not in my spam folder either) . Called them to extend 3 days. I agreed to the price and she confirmed she would email a confirmation. No email received. Called again after a few days and was told them could not send email from that department. So I asked what should I do if I was stopped by the police in the last 3 days with an expired rental agreement. Was told the police would just call them to confirm. All in all I found my Dollar experience highly unacceptable. "

" I filled the car with petrol before dropping it at the airport and had a receipt to prove it, but due to the fact there were no petrol stations between Welldicon and Zurich airport the needed was very slightly on the low side of the full sign. Hence I was charged $26.00 Can equivalent to bring it above full. This spoiled an otherwise good experience. I'd note that this was at the Hertz drop off at Zurich International airport. "

" Unfortunately I wasn't told that Dollar work through Hertz, so it took us a bit longer to find the company counter at the airport. I had to ask and at the end someone gave us the said information. All the rest was good since we practically had a brand new car, although Hertz lack a good choice of manual cars. "

" The low rating for the vehicle is due to the fact that I was supplied with a Auto Transmission vehicle rather than a manual vehicle as per request. Also I was served by Thrifty (not Dollar) through Hertz. At the time, Hertz did not have a similar vehicle with Manual Transmission so I had to take the Auto Transmission vehicle available, even though i never drove an Auto vehicle before. "

" The renting company was Hertz at the end. Everything was ok, apart from the question about full tank when I returned the car - I refueled 10 min drive from the airport. Usually there is no questions about full tank when refueling so close to the airport. Hertz representative questioned if the tank is really full and was not sure. She told that the contract will be closed with exception - until now i am not sure if there was an issue or not. I did not receive any documents from them yet "

" Auto Europe usually has pretty good prices and good service. "

" The car I was given was purportedly new, but it had major problems going up even the slightest hill on the motorway between Zürich and St. Gallen. No matter what gear I tried, it just kept losing speed and I had large trucks honking their horns and signaling for me to get off the road - top speed for a while was 45 kph. I decided to go back to the airport by way of the Wallensee Road, which is not quite as hilly, but still the car was not able to master the uphill parts well. I was really frightened - and again, trucks came up close behind me (I stayed in the right lane) and honked. When I finally reached the airport and told the assistant there what the problem had been, she shrugged it off - said I paid a low price, not to expect better. "

" We had a great rental experience. Car was exactly what we requested - actually even better as it only had 6 miles on it! Customer service was great! Only tip -- make sure you check your foreign transaction fees on your credit card. I inadvertently used my Chase instead of Capital One. OUCH! They killed me on the conversion rate AND foreign transaction fee. Not AutoEurope fault, but just FYI. "

When I returned the car there were some scratches on back passenger side door and now I am being charged based on the estimated cost which is very costly (1270 Franc excluding admin cost of 70 Franc). I look forward to Auto Europe kind assistance to help negotiate for a reasonable charges on the repair cost. "
