" hello, we rented a family car (Audi A4) for 10 days in Austria. when we returned the car to the airport it was dirty inside from garbage and dust. No damage was made to any of the car components - not inside and not outside. We drove the car with our little kids and therefore the dirt. On the return - the Buchbinder representative stated that the car is dirty and will require a cleanup. After 2 hours we received a charge for 170 euro for the cleanup. It is outrages since first of all, we did not know that the car need to be cleaned on return, and second of all, we did not expect the huge charge (almost 50% of the entire rental charge). We feel that we have been scammed because we were there with our little kids and had nor the time or the option to discuss that with the rental company. " Hello, 1. We have purchased the maximum insurance available while purchasing the car through the auto europe site. 2. When arriving to the counter to take the car we were told by the Buchbinder representative at the counter (Hani Darwish), that the insurance we have purchased doesn't include support (road service) if the car breaks down or if there is a malfunction in the car and we will need to take care of that by ourselves if something like that happens. 3. We were also told that if we want Buchbinder road service in case the car breaks down we will need to purchase a separate insurance from Buchbinder at the counter regardless what we have purchased in advance through the auto europe site. 4. We have rented cars many times in the past and never heard that the car rental company doesn't provide road service in case the car breaks down. Not mentioning that we have purchased the maximum available insurance from auto europe. 5. As you can imagine, no one will take a car in a foreign country without a road service so we had to purchase the additional insurance from Buchbinder when taking the car. 6. As we see it, this is not an honest conduct by Buchbiner and auto europe and expect auto europe to refund the additional cost we had to pay to Buchbinder for the insurance. I have driven in USA for 2 months, in Australia, in France. I have never faced this problem anywhere!! They then finally told me that they may consider NOT charging me the one way fee of €25 to consider my troubles. Instead i saw that i have been infact charged extra at €30. This is just wrong and hurtul. I dont think i will ever use AutoEurope again and also warn others to not to. I have hired before in France using AutoEurope. A kind of negative surprise was that I marked the car dropp-off time to be 20:00 on 26.07.2018 and planned to reach the location actually a bit earlier at 19:30. As we struggled with finding the rental car dropp-off location in the Vienna International airport that did not have any signes directing to it, we arrived to the drop-off at about 19:45. We had to re-pack our luggage before the handover of the car and finished at 19:57 sharp. When approaching the counter at that exact time they were clearly already closing the place and did not miss mentioning that we arrived on a very last minute (although they had followed us pack in the front of the reception for 10 minutes).
