" This is probably my 20th or more booking with Autoeurope and I have ALWAYS been very satisfied until now. When I turned up at the Buchbinder counter with my reservation, the clerk had no record of my reservation. Whose fault? Autoeurope or Buchbinder? He thankfully rented me a car, larger than I had wanted, after contacting Autoeurope, who agreed that they would reimburse me the over Euro 1,000.00 which I had to pay to take the car. A claim follows this report. "

" i was asked repeatedly whether i wanted insurance on the car making me rather uncomfortable - but decided not to take it. When i then returned the car there were no staff around (1500 Sunday afternoon) and i had to drop the keys in box and hope for the best... there were no issues though but prefer to learn that upfront as you have no chance to defend yourself if they claim to have found something... "

" I am very pleased with the service. we quickly found the office and there was no queue (at 8 am). the manager stepped into our position and quickly gave us the car (special thanks to him). We got a new Audi diesel automatic. the car was clean and worked well. returned at night and threw the keys in the box. of the shortcomings: there is no spare wheel, they do not work at night, the parking lot and the key box are in different places. but that's how everyone works in Vienna. I am satisfied with the service and will recommend this company "

" First time I have used ALAMO was in Canada. It was top notch. Smooth and by the number. Here, in Vien, it was almost the same. Just one thing, keep in mind, in Europe they much more watching you for any , even small scratches. Inspect your car very carefully during pick up procedure, better do make detailed video record. "

" Overall good, no issues: no fancy sales talk at the counter. Only issue, when picking up the car we got the usual damage description on the car, did not fully cover the damages on the car - we mailed the differences to the rental company (like discussed at the counter). When dropping off the car you do not immediately close the contract - (which I generally do not like). I think they are all working like this however. We didnt get any issues later on however, so quite satisfied :) "

" On the web-site where I booked, the picture was presenting an Opel Combo. At site I was offered a Dacia as a "similar". That was realy funny. OK, I agree, both have 4 wheels :-) Nevertheless the level of a German/French mid-quality wehicle does not corrrespond to the realy minimal-cost auto in Europe. The children seats, that I was offered at the airport were in a very, very bad condition, with torn polster and broken fixings of the back. I preffered to go to a shop and by new ones for my children. Appart of that, I do appreciate the very friendly attitude of the staff at Vienna Airport. "

" The rent-a-car offices in Vienna Airport are far away from arrivals and is not easy to understand why the new terminal makes it so difficult. One has to go down, left, right, up again, turn a non-well illuminated corner and by luck you get in! Really upsetting if you arrive after a long flight and we have to carry with you all the luggage... "

" Eric was excellent. He went over everything with the car and was very professional. I was charged for GPS when the car came with it either way...seems wrong. Drop off was challenging in Rome. I tried to drop it off at the train station and they sent me to another location when to get there took 330 min because the instructions given to us where poor and fast... drop off was poor. No one was there for 40 min as we waited. They 5 guys from Europe car got out of a car and rushed to get us checked in. "
