" The service in the office is awful, were not kind and friendly at all. Didn't explain anything, didn't care at all. Hertz stuff told me that they do not collaborate with autoeurope and they don't care what kinda insurance I've bought via autoeurope service. So I waste my money. Also there're were no people on the parking after 8 PM when I wanted to leave a car. So I needed to walking around to find central office which also was closed to leave the keys in the postbox. "

After dropping off the car at Ljubljana airport as required in my booking, I was told by the Hertz staff there that I could have dropped the car off in Ljubljana town itself, which was not indicated in my booking. " It is really unfortunate Hertz is adding to our poor experience with them. Earlier, our tyre got flat and after facing much trouble we had to take help from OAMTC and had to get a new tyre by paying 111 euros to them, with no help from Hertz. Now,on 8th oct when we returned the car at Ljubjana,the Hertz official inspected the car and showed us microscopic scratches on bumper of boot and mentioned the same in his observation. For this i received a mail that additionally I have to pay 850 euros, which is almost the double of rental amount paid for the car and 1/11th of the car cost price!!!! While taking the car from vienna we were just told that the car is in a good condition and not even a cursory inspection was done along with us to show that there are some or no scratches before hand. On the irony while returning the car a microscopic inspection was done. How in the first place one would know how closely to inspect the car before pick up. We are not even sure these scratched which you have considered as damage existed before hand or not. This is actually not fair to impose such damage cost on us when we cant even quote it as a damage and the official at Vienna should've made us inspect before giving keys.Just to mention as an example,we rented a car from Zagreb too from VIPCars and the guy got us each and every thing checked including the car body and then gave us the key. We have rented car from you and duly paid the rent and security deposits. Its not just to find other means of recovering amount from us by such means. "

" I had rented the car out from Salzburg from Hertz office and had arranged for a drop off at Salzburg airport last Sunday. When I got to the Hertz office, it was closed despite the working hours written on the shop shutter as starting at 9am. I was there at 9:40 and it was still closed. There was a man sitting outside the closed office in Hertz jacket. On asking him when it opens, he said he doesn't know and just said you can give me the key. I felt very uncomfortable giving the key to a random person in Hertz jacket with a closed office despite getting there during working hours. Also, I have still not received my deposit back from Hertz! Can you please sort this out ASAP. I have been charged £700 on my credit card! "
