The terms of the hire had some small print that was provided ONLY at the counter on our arrival in Paphos. All terms should have been provided at the booking stage, to make me take a more informed decision which rental company to go to. "

There were MANY conditions that were not notified to me PRIOR to arrival at Paphos, such as the waiver of the "withheld amount" for an "all-cover" fee! The "full tank" policy is also somewhat confusing and being used to make you pay some more money at the outset! Not happy that the FULL terms of the hire were NOT provided when I made the booking with Auto Europe! :-( "

" I was forced to take out extra insurance cover because there wasn't enough credit on my card to cover their deposit blocking. On the booking I was told it was 900 euros, I had the credit on my card for this, but they added VAT which took it over my limit. I have my own annual excess cover policy so really resented having to pay an extra 40 euros. I offered to put the blocking cover over two different cards but they refused. The car itself was an old high mileage Citroen C1 which was a terrible drive. I'd booked an economy car which I thought was one category higher than a compact car but this was a very small car. Will never book Europcar again. "

Other thing is the credit card. Many people do not have any and that is very annoying they requested for a credit card only - I had like 10 different debit cards Insignia type included. I paid for the full coverage in your site and the other company charged me for the full insurance as well. Please return me the price of the insurance. "

I had to deposit 650 and when I returned the car, they informed me that they will do the car inspection later ( which means - when I'm gone). I'm sure that I returned the car in the same condition as I had picked it up, but the system of cyprusaptcar is set up in a way that it is impossible for me to participate in the inspection of the car after I return it. This enables them to "find" any scratches on the car they want and hence to withdraw it from my deposit without me knowing it. They haven't released my deposit yet, but if I receive it any less than 650, I will have no other choice but to react accordingly. "
