" The first car was quite severely damaged with the tyre rim sticking into the car tyre. The staff dealing with the car just kept saying "no problem", "it's fine"....well, it certainly wasn't fine!! Thankfully they provided us with a new car. Depsite being told I would also receive the refund for the petrol the same day, I am still waiting for the money. "

" The photos of the car were provided to me but did not fully show all the damage. I returned to the office an hour later and was told that the marks were not significant and not to worry. I questioned this and was shown a chart which explained how any damage is assessed on the car. Should this not have been shown to me as standard when I picked up the car? It wasted an hour of my time. "

I am slightly amused that , as two over 70 year olds, my husband and I had to pay a large premium , which we have yet to get back, as I would imagine that we are far more careful than some of the younger drivers we saw in hired cars passing us on the motorway.
