" It is not at all clear what insurance you actually need or is actually being provided. "

" When we returned the car, we were billed in US dollars rather than Euros at a much higher exchange rate. We were not asked about this nor did we agree to it, only noted when we reviewed our receipt. The entire 'extra insurance' issue is baloney. We booked through you with the understanding that it was all covered. Hertz required additional coverage purchased at the counter. It is a racket. "

" Getting charged ridiculous amounts of money compared to what I was quoted. Very frustrating to have to follow up with two companies (AutoEurope and Hertz)! Not sure why both companies are charging amounts to my credit card - Hertz should only be charging for the "extras" and not for what was originally booked as AutoEurope already took payment for that. "

" DIscrepancy in the charges and it's looking like i've been double charged and will need to get it straightened out with Auto Europe and Hertz - very bothersome as it should be a straightforward rental! Confusing on the extra coverages as well as I said I had paid for extra coverage with Auto Europe and they said that you can't buy it online and that I needed to pay extra and that maybe AutoEurope sold me some other kind of coverage - not clear at all as to what the final bill should be and now I've been overcharged! "

" Car was a piece of shit .Nothing like what I ordered and awful to drive.Then broke down.Also when we dropped our previous car off at knock the week before at Hertz they blantly ripped us of because there was a couple of grains of sand in the floor well and charged us 80 euro for cleaning.No floor mats in car and you could hardly see the sand.Obviously a ploy just to scam more money out of people not happy and won't be using them again. "

" pick up and drop off was good. Vehicle, not that good. I was expecting a Qashqai or similar, and I ended up with a Dacia Duster. Not really the same category, if you ask me. So, it meant 800km with a noisy car, noisy engine, and plastics that feel like they were designed in the 70s. "you get what you pay for" can apply with Dacia, but not when you're renting for 600?. Next time, I'll make sure i get the vehicle i'm booking for. "

" Sehr geehrte Firma Gerne gebe ich ihnen ein Feedback. Es war so etwa meine 40 zigste Anmietung eines Fahrzeuges in Irland, bei fast allen Anbietern auch schon bei Hertz, aber vorwiegend in Dublin. Aber so eine schlechte Bedingung wie bei Hertz Shannon hatte ich noch nie. Nach einer Wartezeit von ca. 30 Minuten bot man mir ein Fahrzeug an, es sah so aus, als sei es von einem Autofriedhof gekommen. Ich füge ihnen die Fotos bei. Radzierblenden mit Kabelbinder befestigt! . Ich verweigerte die Annahme und nach weiteren 45 Minuten Wartezeit offerierte man mir ein gleiches Fahrzeug. Renault E?. Von meinem Modell Mazda 6 keine Spur. Für 20 EURO mehr, hätte ich bei Enterprise einen Passat Kombi bekommen. Herz wollte aber für einen Wechsel 200 EURO Aufpreis. Und obwohl ich ja die beste / teuerste Versicherung bezahlt hatte, (mit Ausschluss eine Selbstbeteiligung) wurden mit ca. 2600 EURO auf meiner Kreditkarte blockiert. Nach dieser negativen Erfahrung, versichere ich ihnen, nie mehr bei dieser Firma ein Fahrzeug anzumieten. Auch werde ich diese schlechte Erfahrung in meinem Bekanntenkreis weitergeben.
