" I had booked a scoda Octavia estate because I was travelling with four people and luggage. When I arrived they didn't have the car and I was offered an upgrade but to a car with smaller space. In the end I settled for a Toyota corolla but it hadn't been cleaned but there was no other option for me. It would have been good if a car with the required luggage space would have been available "

" There was one significant issue with my experience with Autoeurope on this occasion. I have regularly used Autoeurope over the years, but this time there was a mistake made which nearly cost me my rental. I clearly specified my home address and country as Denmark on the request, but when I picked up the car I was told that it was a car only for non Danish residents, and I would have to pay a very large surcharge to change it. Luckily I was accompanied by a non Danish person on this occasion, and Budget agreed to change the rental agreement to their name. This could have been a very expensive mistake by Autoeurope and I am not happy about it. "

" Could not rent a car because I am a resident of the country I rented the car in?! I called for assistance, but the person could not do anything he said. Even though I was able to select the country where I live in and address correctly, I could not rent the car. If you as a resident can not rent a car when you live in that country you should not be able to fill in an address in that country or even select that country at all. "

" AutoEurope worked great and offered a really good price. I prefer to rent direclty from a rental company normally, to cut out the middle man, but in this case it worked really well. "

" It's good service for rental car promotions, but Budget/Avis don't want to answer our Email with couple questions about pre-payment and final bill. "

" I booked a car thru auto Europe.eu in Denmark but are also living in Denmark. I reached all the way when booking online... Also paying for the rent. When I went to the airport to pick up the car I was upgraded, but seconds before I got the keys the guy behind the desk ask if I lived in Denmark. I told him yes... Just as the information I gave when I booked and payed for the car. I did not rent a car that day, or at least I didn't drive a rented car... only minus is that I paid for the car. This is the story I will tell friends... Watch out for page three, of all the pages with small letters... Or simply just don't user auto Europe! "

" I had no problems with Budget but I am very disappointed with the level of service from Autoeurope. You pride yourself on customer service but due to your lack of professionalism I had to pay an amount 4 times the original amount I had booked. After I made the booking last Friday, I made sure to call your customer service hotline to ensure that the rates quoted were valid for residents in Denmark which your customer service officer promptly reassured me that they were. When I showed up to collect the car on Saturday, Budget informed me that they were only valid for non residents in Denmark. Can you explain to me how this basic mistake is possible? I called back again earlier this week on Monday to voice my complaint and all your customer service officer could tell me was that you have no record of my call with your customer service officer last Friday! Is this the kind of service that you provide? I am going to leave scathing reviews of your company on every website I can find unless you can provide me with a satisfactory explanation as to why I had to pay so dearly for the horrendous advice that you provided! "
