" Thank you for the opportunity to share. We had a very bad experience with this rental in Dublin. We had requested at the counter that we not be given a diesel car. When we were given a upgrade we asked if it was diesel we were told no. We drove away and refueled with gas a few days later only to find out that it was a diesel. we had to incur a charge of €240 to change out the diesel. Alamo refused to acknowledge that they had not told us it was diesel and they declined to return our €240. There was no note on the paperwork, no sign in the car- only s small sign on the inside of the fuel cap. "

It drove fine but I am more familiar with the Opel so it was irritating to try to learn how and where all the switches and controls were. The car drove fine and was big enough to carry everything we needed. The people at Dublin were 100% first class and super friendly and helpful. Very appreciated their patience and consideration. "
