I contacted Sixt's Roadside Assistance Team per the instructions in the contract and was told to purchase a replacement and present the receipt at return to be reimbursed. " I am not happy with AutoEurope when booking my car this time. As a frequent renter from AutoEurope, this is the first time I am complaining. I booked my car via your website and selected midsize car as usual. This is always suitable for my needs when traveling. When I got to dublin to pick up my car, it was a compact car. I check my reservation and it was a compact car. It seems that eventhough I selected Mid Size car, AutoEurope showed me compact cars also. Ultimately, this cost me double the price when I picked up my car, as I needed to upgrade and SIXT charge my twice the price. I checked the website again and still Autoeurope shows compact cars in Mid Size ranges. Please fix this as its is totally misleading to your customers. "

They did put air in the tire, as the low tire pressure light was on when we picked it up, as was the indication that the oil filter needed changing at the next oil change. However, we were told that everything was okay, once the tire was inflated properly. We had to stop frequently to inflate again, until we finally found a tire repair shop and had it fixed. There was a nail in the tire, and we paid to have that removed and the tire leak sealed. I am contacting Sixt's Customer Service to inform them and request compensation. " We were told by SIXT counter we would had received a reimbursement of the car insurance paid through SIXT, however when we requested a reimbursement to AutoEurope we were told we should had cancelled the insurance within 48 hours, so no reimbursement received and we paid twice for car insurance (approximately 40 euros to AutoEurope and 186 euros to SIXT). We were told we could had returned the car by 5 pm on Monday morning the 7th, however as it was bank holiday, we found the office closed, when we arrived at 3:15 pm the counter was closed and there was nobody (we were no contacted by anyone) and nobody answered at the phone, so we had to drive to Dublin airport from city centre to leave the car key in a secure manner. This meant to us a waste of money (M50, car parking and petrol) and time. "
