When questioning this amount with the counter staff they were rude and dismissive. They immediately blamed the company the rental was made through (AutoEurope) and said that AutoEurope sets the fee. I have never heard this excuse before! In past AutoEurope rentals with other car companies, a portion of the daily rental is charged. I expect AutoEurope to intervene on my part, being a frequent user of your service for over 25 years! "

The car itself was not ready at the allocated time as it was still being cleaned. The staff said we could return the car an hour later due to the delay to compensate for the car not being ready at pick-up. Unfortunately they did not make any note in the system and so we received additional charges for the "late" return. Although this charge is (apparently) being refunded, it took 3 calls to Avis customer service before they agreed to do this. The Avis customer service/phone reps were not very helpful or patient. "

Quando ci siamo presentati in aereoporto l'auto non c'era perchè le avevano date via tutte e invece di proporti una up grade mi hanno dato una Jeep Patriot praticamente una utilitaria. di fronte alle mie proteste mi hanno detto che non potevano farci nulla e di rivolgerci a un'altra compagnia chiaramente perdendo tutto. Chiaramente di ricevere sconti nemmeno a parlarne tanto ormai avevo già pagato. Non mi è mai successa una cosa del genere nemmeno nei paesi del terzo monto ..... complimenti. "

" When we arrived Thrifty claimed we had not prepaid anything, wich was wrong information. second of all they had not prepared the car with wintertires + skiracks that we asked for while booking/paying. For 509 extra CAD we got our wintertires, but they had no skiracks left wich was a bit dissipointing. Except for all of this they took a 9000CAD depossit eaven if our ontract had a a limit of a 500CAD depossit limit. Except for this I guess it was a pressent experience when we finally got on the roads. "
