However we booked a manual car and upon arrival at the Hertz/Thrifty desk we were informed that they only had automatic cars (which are common in Latvia according to them) and if we want a manual car we'd have to wait for around 4 hours. We accepted the automatic car since we had to be somewhere in 4 hours. In terms of car insurance, we had to ask about this since they didn't try to explain the different options available in terms of excess. At the end we asked if a discount shall be given due to the car not being the one ordered and they informed us that 10% of the total cost (car paid on autoeurope and insurance paid on site) will be given to us upon return. Upon return it took some time to process everything since the service was somewhat slow but all went well. However, we were informed that the 10% shall probably be only given on the insurance paid on site and not on the car rental already paid via autoeurope. This was the case eventually which was a bit disappointing given that we complied with what they offered without causing any delays (as previous customers did when offered automatic options). "

" I sow the line with 8 people. There where 2 computers, but worked only 1 girl. As I was with small, tired boy, I called to the company manager. Anyway I had to wait to get my car more then an hour, but then manager came and made contact with me. Car was ok, all the rest was ok. "
