Even though you enter all your details online to hire the car they want you to fill out a paper form, this is then typed in by the counter staff. This takes time and the system should already the details. This would also save on errors. Luckily i know about this form so i ask for it straight away, then i can fill it in while the counter staff do other items for the booking. This maybe not just a problem with Belgrade but in general with Avis? "

I returned the car on Tuesday morning (29-03-22) at Nikola Tesla Airport on P2 because I could not enter the garage. The ramp did not rise and after talking to the ramp operator I was told that Avis no longer has a place in the garage and that I should park on P1 (otherwise no one informed me in advance about this). When I came to P1, the ramp did not rise because the parking lot was full (I pressed the button on the ramp and it said the same thing). The only thing I could do was park on P2, which I did to get on the flight. Another option was to leave the car in the middle of the street. The amount that they block on your visa is outrageous 1250EUR is not for a Ford Fiesta in my opinion. Other than that very good service. "

" Staff at the counter had a bad attitude toward customers, that applied to my personal case and also to the lady next to me while I was starting my rental. For example you cannot say: we don't have the car you booked, we'll give you an upgraded one which you normally would pay more. We're making you a courtesy with this upgrade. The car was in poor conditions, I'm not taking about the external scratches but the inside; the car smelled smoke, was poorly cleaned inside and had a hole in the seat because of a cigarette. "
