First, the announcement was that the counter would be at the airport. It was not the case. United's office and parking are at the Orlen gas station 10min. walk. They do not state clearly on reservation the special requirements for your credit card - it must be embossed (no one has such cards in Europe any more) and credit card should contain all your names like in passport (not only first name and surname). The only way to get a car was to pay additional fee, which was 200 EUR for four days (the rental cost was only 50 EUR). Even if you have the credit card that match their requirements, you have to return car washed in manual car-wash (not automatic one), otherwise there will be a fee. The car itself had very dirty interior (some tissues on the floor from previous renters and sticky steering wheel). It was not serviced (the "must service" light in dashboard was on all the time). "

" Zero Excess insurance purchased wth Autoeurope is not really "Zero Excess". When the damage happens to the car my credit card is chared and then I can TRY to claim it back from Auroeurope. Which I can imagine won't be easy. I've been using Auroeurope many times being unaware of this policy. Speaking of policies they are not clearly explained in the website and during the purchase. "
" During pick up we noticed few damages to the car. We had to go back and ask the person at the GLOBAL desk to acknowledge them. He at first wanted to ignore the damages and then he got visibly annoyed that I insisted to get a paper with signature that those damages were acknowledged. Secondly also at the pick up: the GLOBAL is pushing theirs full cover insurance on people claiming that the AUTOEUROPE's Zero Excess coverage does not cover the the damages on the spot. Meaning that if we have a damage to the car, GLOBAL keeps the 750EUR blocked on the credit card and we have to claim it back later on from AUTOEUROPE. If this is indeed the case I'm also dissapointed by AUTOEUROPE's Zero Excess insurance. Zero Excess means that we don't pay anything on the spot so the whole story made me confused and questioning whether makes sence to purchase next time insurance from AUTOEUROPE. During the rop off the car documents weren;t stll updated with the dameges I provided them during pick up. "

I was one hour and a half late for reasons I could not control, and I did not call them as I thought I would just walk into the office and tell them the reason. But there was no office. I panicked and searched everywhere, spent at least 20 minutes searching around until I figured I could call them. So I called Auto Europe first, they hung up on me (I guess on accident?) and took a while to call back. In that time, I called Surprice. They told me they had a driver come and wait for me in the "agreed spot", which again, was not indicated in the voucher as such, and that "they left when they saw no one was coming". I asked what to do, they said to go to their office in Katowice Airport. I get on the bus to get there, and 10 minutes into the ride they call me to say they have cancelled my reservation because I was more than two hours late and nothing could be done about it. I called to demand explanations about it and say that I am angry because it should have been handled in another way, and both people from Surprice and Auto Europe were very rude about it to me and told me to search for responsibles in the other company. Not only did I lose 110€, but they made it look like it was MY fault not to know that there wasn't any office where the voucher said there would be, and that "I should have been there on time" to avoid problems. " AutoEurope put all the car rental contenders in one place, but since you can't really see the actual full price you'll pay due to "local taxes and fees", we will not be using them again. Also, since Global has has an abundance of complaints of exactly our experience, it is a wonder why AutoEurope still advertises for them. "
" On initial inspection, we noted and photographed all existing blemishes on the car, checked for spare tire, jack and emergency triangle (there were none), checked the fluids (wiper fluid COMPLETELY empty, oil looked clean and acceptable), and accepted delivery of the vehicle for our 5 day rental. Photographed the car again, returned the car to the parking deck (no attendant to receive it), delivered the key and parking paper to the rental desk, and continued to our flight. We would have needed a magnifying glass and a flashlight to see it. They remarked on the return invoice, "Denting and Heavily Damaged varnish to foundation". REALLY?!!! They did 5 hours later. No details about the stain. I did not know about this dirt. I live nearby, I would come to see it myself. Instead, TWO DAYS LATER, they sent me photos of this dirt on the seat and ... fined me by 500 zl , roughly 125 EUR!!! This is ridicules. I simply consider it as additional profit to relatively low rate of rental. This is like regular policy. This amount is like 60% of total bill... And why days later? Why such big amount for easy cleaning?!!! I have never returned a car in bed condition, and this time would be the same if I had seen seen this dirt. On our return the Global office was closed, even though on a weekday during business hours. We were asked to drop the key in the letter box. No one inspected the car or anything. Later on we received a damage protocol stating a new scratch and being charged for that from the credit card. I had good experiences with Global in other countries before so this might be a "polish" way of treating your clients, so for us no Global ever again in Poland! "

The desk of car rent GLOBAL was closed when we came to get the reserved car. Nobody was in the desk. 40 min after phone conversation the employee came to a desk. 2. The car, that I reserved before, wasn't ready on the airport parking, therefore my family 3 person and me (after night flight) droved to another parking place (10 min along) to get the car. In this parking, the car that I reserved wasn't, therefore we took another a car. This parking there was no light and we can't see nothing on the car body therefore I didn't sign any documents before getting the car. 3. The next morning we checked the car and founded more damage on the car body, but we were far away from airport. 4. According to reservation I will must to pay 50.0 euro for cross border, but the GLOBAL employee took 60.0 euro from me about it. 5. on the return day 24/09/18 at 12:30 AM the desk of the Global rent was closed again.
