" Eventhough u have various support numbers, none can help me when I called regarding my problem during vehicle pickup. Your europe after hours support number is not working after hours. When i called other devision they said they cannot help with my reservation because my reservation was with the Europe branch. I demand for a refund please as I did try to contact U but unable to reach and your other branches which was open cant help me. I am very dissapointed with this company as I had to make a new booking with another company on the spot even though I had paid for the whole duration of my rental and I tried to inform regarding my pickup time change which earlier than the due pickup time "

" It was well worth picking up the car from the city centre instead of at the airport. Also, our flight was delayed and AutoEurope contacted the agency to hold the car for us. "

" Very easy to book a car. Variety of cars to choose. Could be better if there is a clear information about the drop-off and pick-up process when ferry crossing between South and North Islands is to be made. "
" Everything was good with some notices. 1. Communication issues: As we traveled in both South and North Islands, we had to drop-off the car in one and pick-up in another island. Unfortunately, this crucial information was never informed. We just found out by ourselves when looking in the Bluebridge ferry's website. We kept trying asking by e-mail about how to drop-off and pick-up the car outside the normal working hours, but there were nothing back. 2. Staff at Queenstown airport: When we first pick-up the car at Queenstown airport, the staff (might be a newbie but nice, friendly and thoughtful) gave us the contract with wrong drop-off and pick-up dates during the ferry crossing. He didn't believe us that we had informed such information to them. We showed our e-mails sent to several Europcar offices. But somehow it turn out that our e-mail never reached to the Queenstown airport office. He then made a new contract with the date we want and asked us to call the Wellington ferry office again 5 days prior to the pick-up date to confirm the new pick-up date. Without informing us first, he mistakenly charged us the additional fee we didn't have to pay as it should be included as clearly stated in the Autoeurope's voucher. Lucky us that I saw the amount charged which were unusually higher than expected and asked him immediately. He then admitted that it was a mistake and told us that he would correct it by making a big note to the other staff to void the total charge once the car is returned. 3. The online chat staff at the Europcar NZ's website: The online chat staff at the Europcar NZ's website gave us the wrong information about the key drop-off point at Auckland airport outside the normal working hours. She wrote that we dropped a key at the office near the domestic terminal. But when we arrived there, the office was relocated to the international terminal. If we had been correctly informed, we wouldn't have been to drive to the domestic terminal and walk 15 minutes all the way back to the International terminal to board a flight back home. 4. Condition of the car: The car picked-up at Queenstown airport was perfectly new and clean, but the one at Wellington ferry terminal was not that clean. But it is fair enough just like we continued using the same one from the South island. "

" In NZ you need a driving license in English or to have an English translation of your French driving license. As no mention of this was done during reservation with AE, I didn't have it. So lot of time lost to get the car at th eairport + 50$ overcost. Not professionnal at all from AE. "

" We were 15 minutes late returning the car, due to lack of parking !! I asked if all was ok and told yes?? Looked at the credit card bill only to find that £70+ pound had been charged, really a shame has the checking in and the car was great, won't be using Herzt again, and dissapointed with Autoeuropehas we use them whilst in Europe all the time! " Old car, over 200k km on board. Need to do a driver license translation to English, due to the new law from 1 August 3016. I was not inform by autoeurope in advance. After 30 minutes and your translation in hand you are able to pick your car. Tricky condition on Ezi site, they inform me that for any damage or problem they will block me 2000 Nzd even if I have an autoeurope assurance. But you could get Ezi assurance for 20 Nzd/day if you don't want the blocking procedure. Fortunately nothing happens to me. But very good price. "
