" Auto europe has provided me with a false adress of car rental shop in Fez, as it was written Thrifty downtown and on that adress the shop was NON-existant. Luckily with help of Google maps it directed me to Hertz rental office, where it was the right adress and it was merged under one brand (Hertz , Thriffty and Dollar)! Also the phone number provided was not usefull as it did not work. If not of pure luck and help of google maps, I would not be able to find car rental office and also would lose my deposit!!! Auto europe has also provided me with a false cost of additional costs, as it was said that additional driver would cost 300 MAD wit VAT included and at counter this was the cost without VAT included! " Autoeurope, please change your policy. The policy is made for the main driver, but if the main driver shows up without drivers licence and the second driver is not listed... They make their own rules... this is unacceptable and very customerunfriendly. Please include customer friendly policies in such a case. Case: If the main driver shows up in Person with no drivers licence and is always in the car, the friend, 2nd person owning a drivers licence pays the additional drivers fee. The same type of car insurance as purchased by AutoEurope takes place and will not needed be purchase again. " Clients should know before booking the car that they can drop it off outside business hours by dropping the keys in a PO box on the sidewall of the rental office. The automatic gearbox on my Citroen Cactus was actually a robotic manual transmission, which means gearshifts were incrdibly slow. Kickdowns were even slower. But it had steering wheel paddles for gear changes, so you could take control when overtaking. Unfortunately the gearbox reduces the power of the diesel motor, but the fues consumption is low. No annoying sounds inside the car. The USB plug could not deliver enough power to charge my phone, and you could not play music from phone memory, only USB-stick. No bluetooth, no AUX plug. "

Vous pourrez constater en pièce jointe que c'est faux. Ils nous ont imposé de mettre un second conducteur pour la caution pour un montant de 70€!! (797,30 dirham), pour info dans le contrat c'est écrit 7€ par jour! Vous trouverez en pièce jointe le contrat avec les justificatifs de paiement. Vous pourrez constater sur le contrat qu'ils nous donné une voiture vide en essence. Il est stipulé dans le contrat qu'il devait y avoir au minimum 1/4 du plein! Au niveau de la voiture, on a reçu une voiture automatique, ce n'était pas dans le contrat, nous avons dû nous adapter. Pour terminer le rétro avant droit était cassé! La prestation est lamentable, c'est du vol!! Nous souhaitons être remboursé au minimum des 70€ prétextés pour la caution. Dans l'attente de votre retour. Adrien JOSSERAND "

" We rented a Duster, it had around 88.000 km, so it was not in an excellent shape, but decent. And if you take in consideration the roads there and roads that we put it through, I consider it was in a fair shape. Other than that we were pretty happy with the car, no road incidents or other misfortunes. The driving is pretty chaotic in the big cities, but we come from a pretty chaotic city ourselves, Bucharest, so we are used with no discipline in driving. On the big roads, however, there is a totally different behaviour, everybody is waiting their turn, there are just a few who are in a hurry and speed, but the rest are somewhat polite and well behaved. We liked it very much to drive the long drives. We drove 1.800 in 9 days, from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, Dades Valley, Merzouga, Meknes, Rabat, Fes, Volubilis, Chefchaouen and Tangier. There were some road works between Marrakech and Ait Ben Haddou where the road was terrible and a big time consumer. After that, overall, it was decent and part of it was even great. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visting Morocco, don't just stay in the big cities, go see the country. "
" I was supposed to pick up the car at 08:00 in Marrakech and the guy there showed up at 08:15, which is not a drama, we were glad he showed up anyway. After all I read about renting a car in Morocco, this was nothing. The car had minor scratches that we were very careful to have them specified on the renting documents. We had a minor inconvenient when we returned it in Tangier, we found out that we were supposed to wash it ourselves or pay 25€ for returning it dirty. We tried to take it to a car wash, where the cleaning was only 5€, but it was crowded, it would have taken a couple of hours and we only had left half a day for ourselves in Tangier and we didn't want to spend them in a car wash. So we paid the 25€ for our peace of mind. Beside that, we had another minor inconvenient that the radio required a code in order to work, which we didn't find in the car. I called the central, they have me a number from the office in Marrakech, but nobody answer. I tried several times in different days and no success. We used our own speaker with Apple Music, lucky for us that we had it. "

We were first given an automatic midsize car, with plenty of knocks and smelling of cigarettes. We were a family of 5 with luggage to fit an SUV. They couldn't drive a manual car so we exchanged cars, we took the manual they were given and they took our automatic. " While booking the vehicle I have cklicked on the option for a GPS, but before arriving to the airport to pick the vehicle up, we changed our minds about using the agency's GPS. The person at the counter insisted that he cannot change anything, because the GPS is already installed. As we came to the vehicle, the GPS was waiting securely packed in bag and was actually installed. The GPS was very outdated and didn't display the roads properly (most of the roundabouts were missing), sometimes it didn't even show us on the road, because of that we used our own GPS system. I can show screenshots of its inefficiency. They charged us 100 € for a GPS that wasn't even working properly. " Hello, Upon picking the car up , the class of car booked was not available and the car that was provided was in extremely poor condition with damage on nearly every panel. The interior was badly stained and smelt of poor body odour. I did not want to accept the car however i was told that the car was the only car available. The issue was that i had to be flexible in my days of car hire and was unsure when and where that would be possible to try and re arrage another replacement if at all possible. I originally booked the car for the period of 4/10 -11/10. On the 6/10 i was completely unsatisfied and returned the car causing some considerable inconvenience. I was surprised at the 1800 Morrocon Dirham depsoit required and also the complete lack of care on registering the damage of the car. I think that it only fair that the remaining days of the contract from the 5/10-11/10 should be refunded. I would appreciate an email and i will be happy to share the contract. If i receive no response i will start to seek legal recourse for a refund of either the unused remaining amount or full refund pending the response fom Europcar. "

The rental car agency does not have any desk/office at the arrival terminal, indeed the handover/takeover of the car as also paper works and stuff are all done right at the parking, under the sun. The guy at the desk was telling me that interrent is a cheap company providing cheap cars and limited mileage but my booking was confirmed with unlimited mileage then I show him the voucher he was pushing me to cancel the booking. At the end your customer support confirmed that it's unlimited mileage. So now I dropped the car and no one was at the desk they even didn't pick up the phone. So I hope they won't charge for the extra miles. "

" Hertz representative, Mounia offered an upgrade to a 4WD to make our life easier on the unpaved route of the Atlas. Retrospectively, it seemed a bit weird that she didnt bother to show us the cars interior and marked the car as scratched all over. Later, could not find the 4WD button. We downloaded the car manual and realized that where the button should be there was an object holder. I called her, asking if she remember the couple who rented a 4WD the day before. I asked her many times where the button was until she replied that this was a 2WD and not a 4WD. I am very sorry that Hertz and its representatives seek to make money by deceiving clients and leading them to unpaved roads in the desert under the impression that they have a 4WD. "

" Aircar is a dangerous tourist trap. The car had a worn out tire, the USB slot did not work, preventing the use of a GPS, which proved to be critical later. Moreover, the fuel tank was empty, with the emergency sign on. The Aircar representative said that I could drop off the car with an empty tank as well, which was in complete disagreement with the voucher I had from Autoeurope, expressly stipulating Full to Empty! He also said that if I didnt like the car or the empty tank I could leave it there, since they only had those two cars available and they would not refund my money anyway. Not even the fee for dropping-off in a different location, although eventually I drop off the car at the same location and many days before expected. "
