As there were two other people before me, it meant I had to wait one and a half hours to pick up the car. When I got to the car, it was not what I had ordered and paid for. Rather than the RAV 4 SUV, they gave me a mid range Hyundai. As I was already late for an urgent meeting, I didn't have time to go back and complain, as by now, there were 4 or 5 people who arrived after me, and I did not have the time to wait a further two hours to question the car I was given. This was 10 days ago. 6 days ago I wrote again, asking if this level and swiftness of customer support is to be expected, but again, received no reply whatsoever. " Green motion has refused to rent me a car citing me not having a credit card even though I have multiple debit cards that can be used for exactly this purpose and I have successfully used in the past multiple times with various providers, both top tier and local. Instead of trying to find a solution, staff member tried to upsell me their full insurance for a cost of 6x the rental price, which is obviously absurd and shows that they probably had no interest in renting the car for the agreed price in the first place. Doing some research online it seems their business practices leave a lot to be desired, with multiple reports of scamming their customers of their money when they don't have full insurance. However, that would obviously not have worked on me, as I am not a tourist, but a local, and doing any scams on me would be a lot more risky, as I can take them to local authorities and courts if necessary. Additionally, the amount of credit cards issued in Lithuania is extremely small (though most of debit cards are proper MasterCard and Visa card with ability to charge down to a negative balance, same as credit cards, as well as ability to place reservation on funds), so it is almost guaranteed to rule out any customers. We had to pay a double price at the Vilnius airport for the car rental. We could not even leave the car back without having any problem. The gate was closed and we could not enter the parking automatically like we have been told. We had to call GREEN MOTION for someone to let us in to the parking lot. We have never had anything like this with any other company.... "
