However we booked a manual car and upon arrival at the Hertz/Thrifty desk we were informed that they only had automatic cars (which are common in Latvia according to them) and if we want a manual car we'd have to wait for around 4 hours. We accepted the automatic car since we had to be somewhere in 4 hours. In terms of car insurance, we had to ask about this since they didn't try to explain the different options available in terms of excess. At the end we asked if a discount shall be given due to the car not being the one ordered and they informed us that 10% of the total cost (car paid on autoeurope and insurance paid on site) will be given to us upon return. Upon return it took some time to process everything since the service was somewhat slow but all went well. However, we were informed that the 10% shall probably be only given on the insurance paid on site and not on the car rental already paid via autoeurope. This was the case eventually which was a bit disappointing given that we complied with what they offered without causing any delays (as previous customers did when offered automatic options). "

" Green Motion requires the car to be returned clean. There is a 59euro cleaning fee assessed if car is not returned clean. However, for an additional 15euro at checkout, they wii waive the cleaning fee. I could have gone to a car wash before returning car, but as the roads were wet, the car would have been dirty from the drive to the airport. I will never use Green Motion again. "

" One hour to make contract with company. Then they wanted that my 2 years old son sit in baby seat 0-10kg. They had no car seats and I waited more then 1 hour to get it. They bought the new one. So, to rent the car took around 2 and half hours. Then one more surprise. In the contract I had 1/8 fuel, but in reality, fuel tank was empty and first I needed to drive to fuel station. Do not recommend this company. "

" Interrent in Riga airport refused to provide a car as booked with AutoEurope mentioning that they do not accept debit Master Card issued in Russia (even though i used this card before for car rentals in Italy and Switzerland) After several unsuccesful attempts to reach Autoeurope by phone I took a car from SIxt (they did not have any problems with my card and could accept it ) . Interrent staff does not have experience with pre-authorization. As the result I paid for 2 days of car rent with Sixt as much as for initial 6 days with Autoeurope. "
