However, during my last car rental in Ireland from 30.05.2024 to 05.06.2024 (voucher number EU21214617-1) with Carhire (booking number PTC:1204038), which is serviced by Europcar, I had a very unpleasant experience related to the fraudulent actions of the Irish branch of Europcar. When I returned the car, I was accused of a minor scratch on the alloy wheel of about 2 cm, which was not done by me. I had no accidents or incidents during the 6 days of the rental, so I am sure that the charge was artificially created. The process of giving me the car lasted 1.5 hours and was accompanied by the change of three cars. In addition, I was not able to get a car of the class I had booked. All cars were rented in a terrible condition, which required me to spend a lot of time taking pictures and did not give me a feeling of security. When I eventually received the last car (the third one), I accepted it because of the significant damage and no longer paid attention to the small scratches, which are usually not listed by rental companies and are attributed to the natural wear and tear of the car. As a result, they returned my deposit with a deduction of 190 euros, without providing any documentary explanation or supporting documents. This money is of great importance to me, as I am currently living in Europe as a Ukrainian refugee who temporarily moved during the war. " Although the staff were very friendly they recommended an extra insurance which I didn't want to take. So I had to give a deposit and we tried 2 of my bankcards with 2 diffirent wireless bankcard machines. That didn't work!!! So they recommended the insurance for 6 days which put me back Euro 186.05. When I had to pay the later amount they took another bank card machine, with wire, and all of a sudden it could take my money. It was still early morning, already had some travelling behind me and realised later that that was strange!!! At the same time they had an issue with another gentleman who's cards were not accepted by the machines. I wonder what was going on there. I certainly had enough credit on my card to give the deposit of Euro 1500!! "

When we were given a upgrade we asked if it was diesel we were told no. We drove away and refueled with gas a few days later only to find out that it was a diesel. we had to incur a charge of €240 to change out the diesel. Alamo refused to acknowledge that they had not told us it was diesel and they declined to return our €240. There was no note on the paperwork, no sign in the car- only s small sign on the inside of the fuel cap. "

I booked my car via your website and selected midsize car as usual. This is always suitable for my needs when traveling. When I got to dublin to pick up my car, it was a compact car. I check my reservation and it was a compact car. It seems that eventhough I selected Mid Size car, AutoEurope showed me compact cars also. Ultimately, this cost me double the price when I picked up my car, as I needed to upgrade and SIXT charge my twice the price. I checked the website again and still Autoeurope shows compact cars in Mid Size ranges. Please fix this as its is totally misleading to your customers. "

Though it was in the class I booked ("Renault Clio" or similar), it was exceptionally uncomfortable to handle and to ride in. If the company chooses to have such cheap cars in the fleet, as least they should make an effort not to offer them for longer rentals. As we had a 10 days trip ahead, on the next day I tried to exchange the car at the Thrifty branch at Lotts Road. I was promptly given a VW Polo instead and in 10 minutes was ready to go. I got charged another €141.03 deducted on 30th October and they gave me another add on rental agreement 988030676 ( AVIS) still for basic insurance on the voucher your supplied first . They failed to mark a scratch on the drivers door on the damage report on the car which had a total of eight individual scratch and scrapes . I was upset by this and had to confirm back to the desk that they missed one scratch on the damage report . I have a photo of this taken before I moved the car from pickup . This was expensive and upsetting experience for me at €216.37 plus fuel costs for 6 days off season. "

Radzierblenden mit Kabelbinder befestigt! . Ich verweigerte die Annahme und nach weiteren 45 Minuten Wartezeit offerierte man mir ein gleiches Fahrzeug. Renault E?. Von meinem Modell Mazda 6 keine Spur. Für 20 EURO mehr, hätte ich bei Enterprise einen Passat Kombi bekommen. Herz wollte aber für einen Wechsel 200 EURO Aufpreis. Und obwohl ich ja die beste / teuerste Versicherung bezahlt hatte, (mit Ausschluss eine Selbstbeteiligung) wurden mit ca. 2600 EURO auf meiner Kreditkarte blockiert. Nach dieser negativen Erfahrung, versichere ich ihnen, nie mehr bei dieser Firma ein Fahrzeug anzumieten. Auch werde ich diese schlechte Erfahrung in meinem Bekanntenkreis weitergeben.
