" The guys from Thrifty were kind and willing to help (especially those at Punta Cana). When I arrived at the counter, the reservation was not available at their system, even confirmed twice by you. Your Customer Service number, written on the reservation was not working because of the time difference. We were very tired from travel (9:30 hours by plane) and decided to go to the accommodation by taxi. Called you the next day to solve the problem, your agent just made another reservation for a higher price even that the current one has been paid from January and has not been used (Voucher EU15618005). This call which has not resolved the issue I had, cost me 122 BGN (or 61 EUR). I could use your site to make the same reservation, that call was not of any help. With the second reservation, we received a car which was not functioning properly and broke on the second day of the rental period. To change it we were forced to wait a half day for the rescue track so it could take us to the nearest airport (200 km from the place where we were located) to take another car and return to the place where we were. We were told they are going to refund this rental day trough you, but we still have any notice for this refund. "

" The company is serious and their offices are very well located, next to the old colonial quarter of the capital city of Santo Domingo. We didn't incurr extra charges locally, except for the extra driver, something we had foreseen because well informed by AutoEurope. The roads in the DR are not up to belgian standards and we got a flat tire due to the derilict pavement; back at THRIFTY's offices, we were charged 4 EUR, which seemed ok to me. "
