The airport consists of one main terminal that is subdivided into four areas - A, B, C and D. On the first floor you have the arrivals hall and car rental desks. Here you’ll also find the baggage reclaim belt and customs. The second floor provides all the check-in services. Security screening and the departure hall is located on the fourth floor. Zone A is located north, Zone B is located northeast, Zone C is located east and Zone D is in the south from the terminal. Information on which zone to head to is provided on the information screens located around the terminal or up on check-in.
As the third busiest airport in Spain, Palma de Mallorca Airport has all the necessary services and facilities for a safe onward flight. Along with check-in desks, security screening, customs, baggage reclaim belts, a lost & found office, arrival and departure halls, the airport also has many restaurants, shops and eateries. The majority of which can be found on the fourth floor. ATM machines are located on the ground floor, along with meeting rooms, a kid’s play zone and a tourist information desk.
This airport is well connected to the motorway network via the Levante M A-19. Along this motorway you can easily reach the island's capital city - Palma de Mallorca, and many other popular destinations on the island. The journey time to the capital is around 15-minutes’ drive. At the airport you can also catch a bus. These provide services locally to beaches, hotels and city centres. Bus line 21 runs every half an hour. Bus line 1 will take you to many of the island's tourist attractions. Buses stops are located both on the ground floor and at the first-floor levels outside the terminal. A taxi rank is also available.
This airport has four car parks which cater to different needs. A long-stay car park, a short-stay car park, a VIP car park and a general car park. Together these parking garages provide over 3,180 parking spots. They are secure and apart from the long-stay car park, within walking distance from the terminal. Within Mallorca itself parking can be difficult to come by at main attractions. On-street parking is available but costlier and harder to find the more central you go. Blue road lines indicate paid parking and yellow road lines where parking is not allowed. Please make sure you read any available road signs for restrictions.
