" They did not accept 2 credit cards and then indicated that they could take a debit card with the condition that I would have full insurance. This felt like a sales tactic, as later on they still required the details of my credit card to cater for any fines, etc. In short, a ridiculous way of doing business, and as a result I will not rent from Alamo again. "

" Overall Bad Experience "

" At the Drop Off the Car Inspector falsely came up with some unknown scratches on the car which for me was unbelievable. I had only driven for 122kms and nothing as such did I notice. On my insistence the lady agreed to take the case to manager and inform me before any penalty was levied upon me. I have never experienced such ridiculous situation since years that I have been renting cars around the world. I am waiting for positive outcome failing which I will take all course of actions opened to me. "

" I had an issue with the GPS i rented. Map was not up to date so i encounter many mistakes and lost a lot of time. After 3 days i had to buy a sim card and use my phone as GPS. I did a report at your customers service. They advice me to ask the refund of GPS when drop off the car. I did it and Alamo staff said that they will refund to me. So im waiting for that. If not happen i will back to you. "

" On arrival it take 45 minutes to pick up the car. 30 minutes at the office to fill up the documents. Never spend so much time for it. "
