" The counter staff (Nora) was doing her best. No problem with that. But Alamo did not have a corresponding car to my booked class at the moment of booking. I booked a 4x4 SUV (RAV 4 - like) which was not available. We ended up with 4x4 estate V60, which would be in general fine, but the car smelled badly inside, since the carpets, still wet after previous water cleaning, were covered by plastic top carpets, leaving a very unpleasant odour and high humidity in the car for several days. On top, it was dangerous to drive the car in the rain (and it rained heavily around Trondheim), since the windshield wipers' replacement was long overdue. I provided this feedback to Alamo before returning the car, and haven't received any feedback up until now. Very disappointing. "

" a. took long time for the registration process (30 minutes); another car wasn't ready for collection and the back door was not working, we waited for exchange of another car wasted 2 hours day light for driving from Evenes to Senja, we have missed out a lot. b. no general briefing provided on the functions; c. shovel should also be provided during winter, our cars got stuck into the snow few times and we have to run to shops/houses nearby to borrow a shovel to scoop away snows; d. auto gear got stuck couple of times, we just didn't able to figure out why, got to just keep on trying until it works. "

" it was not infomed on the website that Alamo was located in the departure area and not with the other rental car companies. It was therefore difficult and time consuming to find them "
